Ist point of call in Perth.

This review is of a stay in October 2025 .
Our arrival in Perth at the start of a 30 day coach trip with Travelsphere. The staff were really friendly and the rooms, although basic, were clean and tidy. The restaurant had a good lunch/evening menu and the breakfasts were very good value for money. Not far from plenty of places to visit and was also surrounded by convenience stores that were well stocked. Rooms were quiet at night and the beds really comfortable. Overall a pleasant start to our trip around Oz.

Great Value for inner city

The moment we walked in to our room we were very surprised. It seemed totally upgraded from the last time we stayed here. Everything was clean and tidy and we had a nice view of the chapel.
This place is the best value you’ll find inner city especially if you want a balcony. The free buses run right past the door so it’s easy to get around.
Staff in general were brilliant. Friday night we needed something and the lady sorted it straight away. Saturday night not so good. We needed a hand with the TV and there is a 24/7 number so I called it. The guy really wasn’t interested and although he said he’d come and help he never arrived. That wasn’t great.
This place is close to the Royal Perth hospital, Elizabeth Quay, the Perth Mint, Hay St Mall etc etc.
Being a budget hotel you can’t expect 5 star, but this is good value for the $$.

It's odd, only a fortnight later on the same night of the week and a very different experience.
Upgraded on arrival (sounds great), however in the end the room was dark less impressive then feeling upgraded.
Bathroom was grimey, balcony room made more noise then previous visit.
At breakfast first plate and bowl for the buffet were both caked in old food crud.
Unfortunately, not worth returning.
