moree camping

Very good camping ground especially for female solo campertrailer traveller. Very clean amenities, lovely small camp kitchen, good laundry and access to two pools. One pool heated thermal spa, brilliant all for $38pn unpowered. Friendly reception.

Not a favourite

Neat and tidy but no sink in the camp kitchen and we couldn't access the free wifi as we were put on a site in the far corner. Right away from anything, including the amenities Can only think we were given that site as we have an elderly border collie and that was as 'pet Friendly' as they could manage. Seriously overpriced - including their booking fee.

Completely rude from the minute we arrived.

Nothing but rude from the minute we arrived. If you ride a motorcycle or with a group of friends on motorcycles DO NOT stay here. Threatened to kick us out for no reason as soon as we arrived. Also had people trying to break in and steal our things during the night

We are sorry that your stay with us was not what you had wanted it to be. We expect all our guest to abide by the road rules in our park and were not keen on some of your group reeving their bikes loudly, and not understanding 10kms as they sped through the park.
That being said, our managers went over and above to make you feel welcome even though many other caravan parks would of not allowed you to stay (as one of your group stated)
We wish you all the best in the future.

Quiet next to the river

There needs to be concrete slabs on the caravan sites as the whole place becomes a muddy pit. We were ankle deep in water and mud when heading to the amenities. The dump point is in the middle of the park and we noticed a smell whenever we walked past and you can see people emptying their cassettes. It should be in a discreet area. Otherwise this is a quiet park. Good for a nights stop over.

Hi There, Thankyou for writing a review, However, I think you may have the wrong park.. Our Dump point is not in the middle of the park. It is actually located in a very discreet area in the corner of the park and has a surround around it to be able to give people privacy,
You also must of come to Moree during an extremely 'wet' time to be ankle deep in water.. That certainly sounds like a hell of alot of water. I'm afraid there is not much we can do about the rain, however we always do like to hear on ways to make our park better.

Adequate for a stopover on a road trip in our caravan

We stayed in a drive through site for one night on our road trip, and it was fine for this purpose. The amenities were clean but they should complete the job of modernising them. For example, the old sinks are still in use with two holes where the old taps used to be, and one new tap in the middle. Very strange! Adequate for a stopover but wouldn’t be a holiday destination for us.
