The positive aspects:
Great location
Excellent staff all around
Breakfast was terrific, but I wouldn't pay $32 a day for it (there was a deal when I booked otherwise I wouldn't have gotten breakfast on site)
Very comfortable bed and pillows
For every day you forgo housekeeping, you get a $10 credit for dining at the hotel
The negative aspects:
Didn't know they were doing renovations to the lobby, restaurant, gym and rooms prior to booking. There was noise and no amenities on site.
Although there were rooms that had already been renovated, I didn't get one. My room had battered and water stained wood furniture, two large, overlapping mysterious stains on the desk chair seat, a dated bathroom that definitely needed an overhaul and a painting, and a red velour chair I wouldn't consider touching.

The staff are working overtime to assist and support guests during the renovation of the Hotel - I stayed in one of the refurbished rooms which was very good and comfortable

Staff courteous and eficient .Especially considering renovations, a very pleasant short stay.

We stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms and it was really comfortable and nice designed. The hotel offers a pillow menu which we highly appreciated.
The breakfast buffet was great and it contained what appears to be housemade beans. They were really good.
