The price was hefty for what it was. The property needs a good clean, beds were okay to sleep in.

I have never done this kind of review before but it was so bad that I feel compelled.
Carpet heavily stained and ripped/frayed
Bed bases ripped and badly worn
Shower pressure almost non existent and hot water was barely warm with just hot tap on
Several lamps in room broken
Air con only worked on cold. No heat is not good in Melbourne in winter
Supposed to have washing machine and dryer. Only had wash.
Mattresses overhung the bed bases ripped making it uncomfortable
Thank god we didn’t need a cot as they are left exposed to the elements and rusted. Would never put a baby in one.
Glass on tables not secured and could easily slide off. Break hazard
Furniture badly run down and in desperate need of replacing or reupholstering.
Apartment was nowhere near close to what was pictured in adverts. Would rate less that 1 star if I could. Travel a lot for work and have stayed in country Motels and pubs that were far better than here. Beyond disappointed

Absolutely filthy

Would never stay there again absolutely filthy. Dishes still in dishwasher, stains on the floors , even on the pillows, tape holding the shower hose up. No smoke detectors in any rooms dog poo in parking lot had to step over. Worst bit was when you open the door the smell absolutely stunk. No toaster could even use the oven dirty trays and it smelled, tea towel filthy. Will never stay there again.

Hmmmmmm

After booking we checked online reviews. Hmmm. We rang the property and questioned the reviews to be told they had been trolled by other local businesses and the rooms would be fine, should have listened to the reviews and booked some where else. Very average.
The room had a really funky smell, we went and purchased some air freshener, that didn't last long.
If we had another option at short notice we would have moved.
The carpet needs replacing (best to wear shoes inside, not bare feet), curtains need attention, couch is very worn, which leaves you feeling like everything needs a very good clean. I haven't even slept here yet, what will the bed be like?
