Everything was great but i am not a fan of the giant waterfall shower - water goes on the floor no matter how hard you try. Beds are comfy, rooms are clean and nicely appointed. Location is nice, restaurant downstairs is good too

The room was one of the most spacious we have stayed in for a long time. Perfect location across the road from the playground and beach. The northern sun streaming through the large glass doors was amazing for our winter getaway.

A Wonderful Weekend Escape at Malua Bay
My husband and I stayed at Abode Malua Bay on Friday and Saturday night in Room 221 and had a very enjoyable experience overall.
The hotel's location is fantastic, situated right next to the beach with plenty of parking available. Our room was spacious and well-appointed, featuring a comfortable king-sized bed, a three-seater lounge with a coffee table, a well-stocked kitchenette, and a large wardrobe containing a safe, ironing board and iron, as well as an extra blanket and pillow. The bathroom also included a washing machine and dryer, which was a great convenience for a weekend stay.
The room was neatly presented and thoughtfully designed, with power outlets conveniently located beside the bedside tables. One of the highlights was the scenic view from our balcony, overlooking the park and the beautiful Malua Bay Beach. The reception staff were also friendly and welcoming throughout our stay.
The only improvements I would suggest are adding a small dining table with a couple of chairs and a sliding shower door. Because the shower lacked a door, the bathroom floor became quite wet after each use.
Overall, we had a comfortable and pleasant stay and would happily return.

Terrible experience
Won’t be back to Abode Malua Bay, or Malua Bay for that matter. Abode has really gone downhill since our last stay, so has Malua Bay. Rooms dirty, service terrible. Matches the way the area has become. The park across the road from the Abode has been taken over by a group of local delinquents. So our kids could not use the park. Even if they could they would have to contend with the dog crop scattered though the area, along with the broken glass. Spoke to the people at Abode, but they defended the delinquents. Turned out one of them was the child of an Abode employee. Better off not travelling so far for a long weekend get away in the future, with the whole Batemans region degenerating. Kiama, Jarvis Bay not so far, but better options for a pleasant stay my friends inform me.
