Relaxed and comfortable
We recently spent some time at Shorelines 33, and can thoroughly recommend it for a relaxing and comfortable stay on Hamilton Island. The location is sufficiently out of the way that it is very quiet, yet just a quick buggy ride to the marina, shops and restaurants. The apartment itself is modern and well-equipped with all you will need, and of course it has a great view. And the valet service to/from the airport made the process of checking in and out very simple. A great place to holiday.

Filthy
The apartment was not clean. I have never stayed in such a dirty holiday accommodation in all my travels. Mould, dust, filthy washing machine and dryer. Our 10 day holiday that we were looking forward to after surviving breast cancer was ruined by the condition of this apartment. 2 towels for a 10 day stay and no service in 10 days. Had to purchase linen for about $70 and received 2 towels and a set of sheets so we could change our bed linen. We purchased cleaning products to make the place habitable. We spent 4 hours just to clean the filth out of the washing machine. We reported it to the booking company whitsunday holidays and all they did was refund $100 which was insulting. The cleaning supervisor said they don’t clean washing machines etc. the screens were filthy and mould in the ensuite shower was just putrid. My immune system is a bit comprised and I ended up with a very bad sinus infection from the dirt and mould. My husband had to use the supplied vacuum cleaner to clean the floors and the lounge had dirt between the cushions. When he went to use the vacuum it was absolutely putrid,. He spent another hr cleaning before he could use it. At $550.00 plus per night we are disgusted . I reached out to the owners through their Facebook page as I wanted to give them a chance to make compensation but not even an apology.

Stunning views and nicely styled
We enjoyed our stay at shorelines 33. We stayed for 4 nights.
Between our extended family we had shorelines 26, 33 and 36 with 33 being the nicest in terms of decor.
The views were spectacular.
The apartment was clean, not immaculate but definitely clean. The kitchen was very well equipped and also had a selection of plastic bowls, plates and cups for the kids.
There is a lot of stairs over the 4 split levels so wouldn’t recommend staying here with kids that are not confident with stairs. Our kids are 4yo and almost 3yo and it was no problem.
I would recommend staying here to others due to the nice decor, clean apartment and stunning views however would be cautious for those who are not great with stairs.

Shorelines 33 - family holiday
Having visited Hamilton Island twice before we wanted to experience something different, especially being a family holiday this time around.
The property was clean and fresh and all furnishings were new and comfortable. The property facilities were great and the kids and us loved the infinity edge pool.
The pick up and drop off service was fantastic and in time as promised.
I would strongly recommend Shorelines 33, we'll be back. However, other properties in the complex were not as clean or set up as well and needed a refresh.
