Good size room & friendly staff

A friend and I spent two nights at this motel. We chose it because it was pet friendly. The room was clean and spacious, with pretty good supply of crockery and cutlery. Table and chairs were a welcome addition, along with patio chairs and small table on the private patio. A lot of noise from the busy road, but the air con was effective so we could keep the doors and windows closed. The staff were generally very friendly and helpful. Pool had water in it but didn't look inviting - not sure how often it gets cleaned. Plenty of parking available at rear of motel.

Second and last chance

Well we will not stay here again , stained white towels , cockroaches alive , carpet tired worn and smelly, curtains dusty and smelly, screen door not shutting, main door had to be forced shut,
I stayed here last year while attending my grandson’s engagement and nothing has changed .
No breakfast on Friday as cook had to go to Taff, poor excuse?
Then questioned as to why we ordered two extra rashes of bacon ?
Owners need to do maintenance quickly
Don’t waste your money unless you’re desperate

Central Coast Stopover

We cannot fault the kindness and courtesy of the staff of the Lake Haven Motor Inn - every member of staff we spoke with treated us wonderfully. They attended to our needs quickly and efficiently ... for example, installing grab rails over the bath when we expressed concern about our safety; and arranging another room when a noisy air conditioner compressor unit caused us problems at night.
Overall, however, the buildings and rooms are in need of an upgrade, even though LHMI is a popular place for people to stay - 2 out of the 4 nights we stayed had "no vacancy".

Over night stay

Our arrival was well after reception close. Room was unlocked for us & keys in room. Tea, sugar & coffee provided, unfortunately there was no milk. Pleasant stay. Close to leagues club. A little noisy with traffic for us as we are from a quiet little town. Slept very well.

Nice Stay

We only stayed one night whilst attending a birthday party. Check in was slow but friendly. Room was upstairs and had a lovely view of the water, was also very quiet. Room was clean but we could see a few things that needed attention, like the toilet cistern (buttons wouldn't pop back up), bed was uncomfortable, front screen door didn't close at all, carpet had stains and the shower was over the bath. The pool area is very nice although a giant gum tree would make it difficult to keep leaves and bark out of the pool. I would stay here again.
