Stayed here for 3 nights over the Easter weekend. What a gem. So peaceful and quiet and only 5 mins drive to Central Tilba township. Lots of birdlife, rolling green hills and cows mooing in the background. Perfect!

Lovely spot

We enjoyed a couple of nights here, great provisions, a helpful host, who sorted us a Saturday night dinner reservation and kept in touch by WhatsApp. Self check in before we arrived so very straightforward to get settled in. Loved the birds, the garden and the dog, Archie. Cloudy skies both evenings so no stargazing sadly. Highly recommend.

Great place to stay near the coast

We stayed in the Apartment for a few days whilst touring Australia from the UK, excellent facilities, spacious, ample quality food in the breakfast pack, clean and comfortable. Even helped up book a table at the local pub for my wife’s 60th, rustic but lovely staff and great food. Thank you Tim and Rebecca.

Great South Coast option away from main towns

We stayed in the Country Cottage at Tilba Lake House and enjoyed a tranquil week away from the nearby tourist towns of Narooma and Bermagui. The property is on the ocean side of the Princes Highway and has panaromic views of the adjacent lake and to the sea.
The cottage is well presented, good bathroom and ample kitchen facilities for breakfast and lunch. Central Tilba is only 2km away and has a great pub (The Dromedary) with an impressive menu, the well-known cheese factory and some quirky craft shops.
There is a recently opened walking trail behind the town - the Bellbrook Farm Loop - it is a very scenic 1 hour hike into the foothills.
Narooma and Bermagui are both very close, less than 15km, and provide eating options and coastal attractions.
We recommend you check out the Tilba Lake House and Tilba in general if you are planning a trip on the NSW South Coast.

10/10 and will go again

The weather was crazy but the experience and atmosphere was incredible. We stayed in Frankie for the glamping experience and it was simply amazing, especially with the romance package and breakfast box.
