Accomodation as pictured, very happy with it. Clean and close to town. Check in process was smooth and staff friendly. Would recommend..

I was a little disappointed with my stay at Southcamp, especially as the many positive reviews were what initially drew me in. Unfortunately, the cleanliness and maintenance weren't up to standard expectations. There was sand throughout the shower from a previous guest, some cutlery still had dried food on it, and the curtain was partially off its rail despite requesting it be fixed twice. The bath towels were also quite worn, with some thin, bare patches. For the price I paid, I didn’t feel the experience reflected good value.
That said, there were definitely some positives. Jackie was incredibly lovely and helpful, and all the staff I interacted with were friendly. The bed was sooo comfortable, and the tiny home itself was cosy and well set up. The location is great with an easy walk to the beach, and I really enjoyed being able to use the complimentary e-bikes to explore the area.
Overall, while there were aspects I enjoyed, I probably wouldn’t stay again unless there was a special deal available.

What a great set up and location. Excellent community feel with the central outdoor spaces a hub for gathering guests to enjoy accommodation, cafe and restaurant.
Rooms to the apartment were clean. Easy walk to access supermarkets, bakery and other dining options.

Not Going Back

Well hasn’t this place gone down hill. We normally arrive have a pint then order food with the next pint so it comes out half way through that one. Nearly an hour later no food asked someone to follow up and they brought out and delivered someone else’s food who order after us! Got a refund and left hungry, not at all happy. Would I recommend or go back not at this point especially when you pay and there’s a surcharge and then when you are refunded you don’t get that back…
