A social experience in Barcaldine

We had an enjoyable stay here. The amenities are a bit dated but clean, the caravan sites are grass and spacious. The camp kitchen is open air with plenty of tables & seats and well equipped. Keith lights a camp fire at 5pm each evening and on Tuesdays provides free damper & Billy tea at 4pm. Cooked meals are available for a cost on other days. This is a caravan park that we will happily return to.

Friendly and kind.

This park was friendly and clean. Keith cooks beautiful home made meals and sweets that are reasonably priced. I met sime lively people here who were kind and helpful. I will def come back to this beautiful community and park.

Grassy large sites

Great spot, friendly owners, nice big grassy sites, many of them drive through, we got to choose our own site when we arrived. Music, a fire and food if you wanted it (at a reasonable price) at the camp kitchen in the evening. Pet friendly. Enjoyed our 2 night stay.

Barcaldine Caravan Park - What A Gem!!!

We were absolutely delighted with finding this caravan park. The large site is well kept and the individual sites are spacious. Service is excellent and they even have a cooked meal available on a Sunday and frozen meals during the week.
We finally arrived at about 5pm, were shown our site and informed about the frozen meals that are available.
We had been in the road since about 8:30 this morning and the thought of cooking wasn’t a good one.
I had chicken and mushrooms with
Mash and my husband had the Greek beef Stew. They were divine, beautiful flavours and textures presented in a Chinese food container. We were so impressed they may see us again on our return trip.

Dog Friendly

Dog friendly. I stayed in a cabin which was older style but very clean & comfortable. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits & real milk in fridge - very happy. Extra pillows & blankets in wardrobe, cooking utensils & crockery provided. Hot shower, cold air con. Frozen meals available to buy at reception. I was greeted by Keith on arrival who could not have been more helpful after my long drive. Would stay again.
