Old school hotel, very central

The hotel feels like stepping back in time with elderly staff in shirts and ties on reception. It’s very central, right on the main square but our room faced inwards so was quiet. It was spacious and clean (cleaned daily) and the bed was comfy. Air con worked well and WiFi was good. It’s a quirky hotel- you have to ask for the air con to be turned on, which requires Miguel from reception coming upstairs and flicking a secret switch (actually a fuse box isolator). No explanation on why this is necessary! Breakfast was a couple of croissants and coffee, basic but okay. For the price and location it was fine and I’d use again if in Salta.

Well. For short stays.

Average hotel.
Acceptable price-quality ratio.
The facilities are old but very clean. The room is small, but with the basics for comfortable sleeping and bathing. With a small window that for me is always important to ventilate.
We didn't try breakfast.
The receptionist's attention was very good.
Not so the girls from the confectionery that the hotel has in front of the square... very bad manners and no desire to serve customers. We needed to buy water and they acted distracted so as not to sell us (on two occasions) and we ended up going to buy at a kiosk. For this reason, despite breakfast being included in the price there, we decided to go pay for it at another cafe.
I would return if it is not a stay of many days.
Salta is beautiful!
This hotel has an excellent location! In a corner of the main square. To walk to any night location, jump and walk through the city center.

cheap and centrally located

This hotel is worth the money. Cheap and located directly in the center, on a corner of the main square. You will have air condition, WiFi, a cheap room and a small breakfast. In this case it does not matter when the door can not be locked with the about 100 years old key and the landlord seems a bit unfriendly.

Very basic

Centrally and perfectly located.
The rooms are very basic. Breakfast opens at 07:30; while most of the guests, who are checking out to go for excursions, leave around 07:00; so will miss the breakfast. No remote for air conditioning was provided. If you leave the window open, in your room you'll get all the smell from the neighborhood cooking. Bathroom is really bad.

Good place

Hotel Regador in Salta is a good hotel to stay at if you are visiting Salta on your way to Bolivia. Rooms are large and very clean. Breakfast is continental but enough. Wi fi is a bit here and there though. Over all quite goid and staff are excellent and speak some english.
