Discovery
Renovated hotel, good location, excellent experience, the staff was very kind and attentive, rooms not very large, just the right size but comfortable, I would return.

This hotel is recommended for us to stay in during trips to Buenos Aires because it is close to the historical center and has many transportation options within the city.

Security fault involving room safe
I stayed in the hotel Up Córdoba Central (room 303) between the 1 and the 24 April and lamentablemente had a very worrying experience related to the safety of the establishment.
During my stay, la caja fuerte de la habitación inexplicably stopped accepting the password that I myself had configured and that only was known to me. The staff opened the box with a master key.
Subsequently, before returning to Brazil, I found the missing 400 Brazilian reales that remained kept inside my billetera in the interior of the coffe.
In addition, I personally observed that the master key used to open strong boxes was kept in a reception cajon apparently without special security measures.
After what happened:
- carry out a police complaint;
- initiated formal complaint before defense del consumer;
- and requested specific explanations to the hotel regarding records, protocols and internal review.
However, so far I have not received any concrete answers on the points raised.
I share this experience in a strictly factual and documented way so other guests can take their precautions.

Later, already at the airport, before returning to Brazil, I noticed the lack of 400 reais that were stored inside my safe.
In addition, I personally noticed that the master key used to open safe seemed to be stored in a common reception drawer, with no apparent access control.
After what happened:
- I registered a police incident;
- I formalized a complaint with the consumer defense;
- and requested concrete clarification from the hotel on security protocols, opening records and internal investigation.
Nevertheless, I have so far not received any concrete answers on the questions.
I report my experience in a strictly factual and documented manner so other guests can evaluate and take their own precautions.

Estimada P4655YMj_liam, Lamentamos profundamente el infortunio y la molestia que empaña su experiencia tras su prolongada visita. Atento la huesped ha denunciado ante la justicia penal una supuesta "irregularidad", sobre una caja de seguridad de su habitación, respecto de una parte del dinero que dice haber guardado en dicha caja; Denuncia que fue ingresada y tramita ante Ministerio Público Fiscal. En razón de encontrarse en curso una investigación penal preparatoria, y habiendo puesto a disposición de la justicia los registros de ingresos de personas y personal a la habitación del pasajero, a fin de determinar la posible existencia del hecho y/o su autoría, nos vemos en la obligación de aguardar la gestión del Sr. Fiscal, para una pronta respuesta al justiciable y desalentar ese tipo de conductas, para optimizar los protocolos de seguridad y cuidado de nuestros huespedes. Estamos atentos al progreso y a los requerimientos de la justicia para colaborar con la investigación.
