Internet was appalling
Check-in was smooth and efficient. However, there was no assistance offered with our luggage, and we struggled to manoeuvre our suitcases through the doors on arrival. The staff were friendly, spoke very good English, and provided helpful information about places to visit during our stay.
We booked an 80-minute massage, which was excellent. The therapist was very skilled, and I would highly recommend the treatment itself. That said, the massage room felt underwhelming. It was essentially a basic room attached to the gym rather than a dedicated spa space you would expect from a five-star hotel. The ceiling in particular was quite uninspiring, and the overall ambience lacked the relaxing atmosphere a spa should provide. This area would benefit greatly from improved décor and a more luxurious finish.
The pool is very small and not particularly impressive, although we did not spend time there so cannot fully comment on the experience.
Unfortunately, we experienced extremely poor internet throughout our two-day stay. The connection was constantly dropping, with very slow speeds, and despite raising this with reception, it could not be resolved. The hotel advertises high-speed internet, but this was certainly not our experience and was one of the most disappointing aspects of our stay. We also felt our concerns were somewhat dismissed rather than taken seriously.
On a positive note, we had dinner at the hotel both evenings, and the food was very nice — I would recommend it. Breakfast was ok but not a huge variety. The in-room amenities were excellent, including complimentary water in the fridge, a kitchenette, air conditioning, a large TV, hairdryer, one USA plug (though no USB ports), and a beautiful shower you hardly want to step out of.
One practical point to note is that there is no designated taxi drop-off area, meaning we had to briefly stop in traffic to unload our luggage, which felt a little awkward.
Overall, it was a comfortable stay with some strong points. However, several areas would need significant improvement to truly align with a five-star standard. Compared to other four-star hotels I have stayed in, I would rate the rooms as 4-star, the restaurant 3-star for dinner and 2-star for breakfast, and the spa facilities 2-star.

A comfortable hotel!
The location is very good, in the Recoleta neighborhood. Close to Av. Santa Fe, which is a very good center of commerce and restaurants! The best of this hotel is the service! Everyone very friendly and kind, especially Mark and Augustine! They are very attentive and always seek to meet our requests. The hygiene is also very good! The bathroom has a good size and everything works well! The breakfast is well-sorted and has great quality. The attendees have the same spirit to serve well! We were very happy with this option!

Pertence mysteriously disappeared
The good reviews found are probably due to the location and the comfort of the hotel. During much of the stay, our impression was also positive, despite some points that could be better, such as the bathroom box, which is quite narrow, the noise level of the room and the breakfast, which we considered weak.
However, what profoundly impacted our experience was the disappearance of a personal object on the last night.
Before leaving the hotel to watch a tango show, we packed our bags to return to Brazil the next day. In the backpack that would be used as hand luggage and which was left at the hotel during the night walk, I put a scarf, a pair of socks and a case containing my sunglasses.
We returned to the hotel around midnight and noticed nothing abnormal.
The next morning, we checked out around 8am and already on the way to the airport I realized that the case with sunglasses was no longer in the backpack.
When contacting the hotel to report what happened, I was directed to look better among my belongings. Even being sure where I had left my glasses, I did so and couldn't find them. We insisted with the hotel and were informed by the owner that he himself reviewed the images from the security cameras and that no one was in the room during our absence, that is, the object disappeared - and continues to disappear - mysteriously.
The worst thing is that we had already read on the internet similar reports about alleged disappearances of belongings at AQ Taillored. When questioning the owner about these cases, he told us that they are all invisible.

We would never stay there again.

A very nice hotel, great restaurant, comfortable room. Friendly staff and simply a great place to stay. Outstanding value!

This hotel was a 5-star hotel in my opinion! The hotel and staff go above and beyond with lovely complimentary items that I did not expect. Breakfast was also delicious! Enjoyed every second here :)
