The garden is wonderful, it has a small fish pond, a great place. It's true that it's a bit difficult to get to if you don't have a car, but that's nothing

Everything was very good. Delicious food, friendly service. First class hotel. Excellent wellness service. I can only recommend it to everyone. The price is right, it includes half board and wellness use. The room was perfect. The food was excellent.

Perfect hotel for wellness and excursions to Eger and the surrounding area

We stayed 4 days in best autumn weather in Eger. The entire hotel area provides plenty of Italian flair with its lovingly Mediterranean-styled outdoor area. The elaborately designed wellness area is visually very appealing, everything is very clean and tidy. We had booked half board and the food was perfect, sumptuous and super delicious. The very friendly and courteous hotel staff rounds off the visit even more. All in all, we were very satisfied - even with the region around Eger, which has plenty to offer for wine lovers, wellness fans and those interested in history.

Good and Bad Points

Reasons I love this place: it’s got a great wellness center with hot pools and saunas. The location is shaded with many flowers and trees, the staff were helpful to any request. The view of Eger below is beautiful. Food is also good.
The negative: the walls are super thin! You can clearly hear people using the bathroom in other rooms.
Another giant negative: this hotel is the most wheelchair and baby carriage unfriendly hotel ever. There are tons of narrow cobbled paths and stairs. Zero elevators. There’s a run-down playground that looked too dangerous for my girl to use (needs a modern replacement). Our bed almost collapsed during our first night because the boards holding up the mattress weren’t bolted properly.
Overall a stay with an equal amount of good and bad points.

Cute place not far from Budapest

Really nice place to spend a long weekend far enough from Budapest but not that far (ca.1,5 hours by car). The hotel is located on the mountain but ca. 20 minutes by walk from the city center and 13-15 from the railway station. The hotel has a big garden with flowers, trees and a church for wedding. The buildings are connected under the ground so you do not need to dress up for wellness.

Nice quiet hotel with large Spa

Very friendly staff. My first room was close to the restaurant and with windows open it was too loud for me. But I got another one without problems. Large compound, very quiet without traffic etc. but still walking distance to the city centre. Nice to visit Bükk National Park from here. Large Spa in good condition and an outside pool. Breakfast and cuisine was not extraordinary, but good. Prices are OK. Bed matress is not so good - cheap quality.
