We had a wonderful stay at Cascade Resort and thoroughly enjoyed our time there.
One of the highlights was our breathtaking room. It was spacious, beautifully designed, and extremely comfortable. We especially appreciated the thoughtful layout, with the sleeping area separated by a curtain from a cozy relaxation space, creating both comfort and privacy. The balcony offered a lovely view and was the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the surroundings.
The breakfast exceeded our expectations. The selection was fantastic, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options. We particularly enjoyed the opportunity to make our own fresh juice, which was a unique and refreshing touch. There was something for everyone, and the quality of the food was excellent.
Dinner was equally impressive. During our stay, we experienced both the buffet dinner and the served dinner option. Each offered a different experience, and both were outstanding. The buffet provided a great variety of choices, while the served dinner was beautifully presented, elegant, and absolutely delicious.
We chose Cascade Resort largely because of its proximity to the spa, which is conveniently connected to the hotel and easily accessible in a bathrobe. While the spa itself feels a bit outdated and could benefit from some modernization, it still met our needs and provided a pleasant place to relax.
Overall, we would gladly return to Cascade Resort. While the spa was enjoyable, it is the hotel itself—with its beautiful rooms, excellent dining, and welcoming atmosphere—that truly made our stay memorable. We highly recommend it and look forward to visiting again.

Its ok for short time
We spent 4 days at this property and overall, the value for money was excellent.
The breakfasts were very good, with a great variety of options — something for everyone, fresh and satisfying.
Dinners were truly delicious, with a wide selection to choose from. You won’t go hungry here!
One small inconvenience (which isn’t the fault of the friendly waiter) was having to sign for drinks during meals. When I asked, he politely explained that it’s a requirement from the management.
It would really help if the management could provide a short explanation for guests, even just in English, so people understand the process. There is no WiFi so do not even ask !
Another small issue: we are now on day 3 and still have the same towels in our room.
I also went to the spa, but the staff member there was quite unfriendly and gruffly told me the towels provided there are only for use in the spa and cannot be taken to the pool area. That felt unnecessarily strict and not very welcoming — a bit of extra hospitality would go a long way.
Will we return?
Probably not. But if you’re passing through the area and looking for a place to stay for 2–3 nights, this hotel is a solid option.

It's horrible
We arrived with a coupon, and the staff immediately welcomed us kindly. We have taken the rooms. When we entered the room, we were immediately greeted by an incredible unpleasant smell.
Rooms are not properly cleaned (in the shower you will find fur, hair and other things from the previous guest, let's not even talk about the cleanliness of the toilet, the toilet flush button is stuck and other things can be found, the toilet paper holder is dirty. The carpet in the room is grossly dirty, smelly. The mini bar is moldy, wardrobe moldy. Bathroom cabinet moldy, wet. Washbasin sink sticky. Baby bed sticky, dirty, broken)
We also changed rooms (I would like to point out that the receptionist is the nicest and most helpful person)
The "air" in the new room was a bit more pleasant

Very nice stay
Spacious, well equipped rooms which provide you with everything you'd need for some relaxation (jacuzzi, infrared sauna inside the suite). The hotel, the rooms and the restaurant are all crystal clean, not mentioning the variety and deliciousness of the food.
The wellness area is nice to spend an afternoon in, having the opportunity to participate in some sauna seances, too.
You can reach the neighbouring hot water pools with a short walk directly from the hotel, and you can also reach the Cave Bath quickly. The hotel is built on a hill, with a pleasant view from the suite, and at night if the weather is nice, the starry sky is spectacular as well due to low light pollution.
The staff was very kind and polite, you could turn to them with nearly anything. The reservation was a breeze through the phone, we had the honour to speak with Kinga Bajzát to make our booking, and we were treated professionally and nicely.
We'd recommend the hotel to anyone who is searching for a pleasant place to unwind and have some recreation.

The SPA Hotel that doesn't have a SPA
Upon arrival the staff were immediately rather unpleasant, we arrived at 1.30 pm and there was no way to check in before 2 pm.
We don't know what could change for them...
Then we realized that the Hotel's SPA is a miserable little pool, the actual SPA is 300 meters from the Hotel and is not the property of the Hotel, so in addition to having to do it on foot with 2 C in winter, you also have to pay it.
In the evening we realized that the room was infested with cockroaches (they came from a hole in the false ceiling). After repeated discussions, they accused us of having left the window open, which is why there were cockroaches (as if with 2C there were cockroaches on the terrace!!!) they moved us to another room, obviously of a lower category.
You also have to pay attention to the rush hour for showering, otherwise, you risk running out of water in the room (it happened to me).
The bottom line is just not worth it, go somewhere else.
