Directly on the railway line

Well run house, Clean with shared kitchen use.
Disadvantage: Several times a day, shunting locomotives are parked directly in front of the house. I'd be happy early in the morning.

A quiet and nice place near the center of the town

We were very happy to find this place for a good price, close to the town center, close to the train station. It is clean, neat, very nice place. It has a “lobby” with fridge to use that you share with others. You can make coffee there too. The owners live nearby and can be reached. They are very friendly and welcoming. Our 2 day stay was pleasant and we will return there when we visit the town.

Great stay at Pastel Guesthouse.

We arrived early and phoned the owner,Eadie, and she came right over and checked us in. She then gave me a ride to the bike rental place.
The rooms were clean and there was a full kitchen available for guests with coffee. I would definitely stay here again.

Romantic, vintage vibes great guesthouse

Pastel Guesthouse advertising herself as a adult friendly environment. This means beautiful interior design, no kids screaming in the morning waken up you from your nicest dreams. Romantic getaway with your love, spouse or friend.
Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, aircon is available in the room. Nice kitchen if you want to cook, free coffee and tea every morning.
It is quite close to the city center, about 10 minutes.
I will return with my hubby for more then one day again.

Very Good

My wife and I stayed for 4 nights. We were both very pleased with the quality of the Pastel Guesthouse. It's very close to the station and a quick 10 minute walk away from the lake itself.
Our host was very accommodating and fortunately for us her English was excellent.
Having visited Balatonfured a few times before the accommodation can vary in quality a lot. However I am pleased to report that Pastel Guesthouse is well presented and maintained and I would definitely stay here again.
(Also the shower in our room was super powerful, so bonus points for that too)
