A Hidden Gem on Lake Balaton

Our stay at Partvilla Balatonboglár was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the hotel’s authentic charm. It blends beautifully with its natural surroundings, creating a peaceful and warm atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home. What makes it even more special is its location: tucked away from busy tourist areas, it offers a calm, relaxing escape where you can truly unwind without the crowds.
One of the absolute highlights is the beach. It’s simply stunning, calm, clean, and incredibly serene. What makes it even more special is being surrounded by graceful swans and friendly ducks, which adds a magical, almost storybook-like feeling to every morning and sunset by the water. It’s the kind of place where you can truly reconnect with nature.
The staff deserve special recognition. They are exceptionally friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a genuine smile. Their hospitality adds a personal touch that elevates the entire experience.
Our room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, ideal for relaxing after a long day outdoors. Everything was thoughtfully arranged, and the cleanliness throughout the property was impeccable.
For families, this place is a dream. It’s incredibly kid-friendly, offering a safe, welcoming environment where children can play freely while parents relax. The combination of space, nature, and thoughtful amenities makes it perfect for a stress-free family holiday.
My son is already looking forward to our next visit!

Never ever! Soha többet.

We spent only one day but we haven’t got warm water in the evening. We indicated, but there was no hot water in the morning either. They insisted on paying the full amount!!! Shame.
They refused to compensate us.
We do not recommend it to anyone. Avoid them.

Nice and clean beach.good breakfast.very kind staff.city center is 2 mins walking.
We loved it!!well equiped beach.small playing house ,comfy garden furniture.the villa is stylish ,our room was perfect.

Not match the price/ quality, amenities

Good location, big garden, beach.
Big disappointment! The have a good photographer who knows how to trick our eyes. From the advertising photo and price we expected something better quality.
The room was small, dirty and cheap quality.
Bedsheets are very old and cheap quality, bathroom small, furniture old (like min. 20years), bed matras too much used..
Breakfast is cheap so the quality is matching.
To find staff at the reception its impossible (even at daytime).
We paid 100€/ day.
Better to search on trip advisor next time (instead of booking.com). On booking.com only the positive comments pop up. Wouldn't be surprised if booking.com deleting the negative comments...

Very expensive for what it is!

It is difficult to be positive. The best thing in the hotel is the ever-friendly staff and the location; access to private beach which was really great. Everything else is not so great. The room was tiny, poky if you wish with a small double bed that should have made do for three of us: a 3 years old and parents. The bed was really uncomfortable, springy, well-used. There were no bedside tables, just two simple stools against the wall. The little coffee table broken, the white washed wall dirty The bathroom again tiny, not well maintained. Food for breakfast, lunch and dinner is truly forgettable. Like boarding school food. On one occasion we had just a portion of fries as a snack with some dipping sauce and we were charged £1 extra for a tiny pot of sauce. The coffee for breakfast is horrendous or you can pay for some decent brew from the bar. Not very nice. Car park is full to the brim and you need to edge your way out of it as I suppose it was not a car park originally. Next time we have a holiday at the Lake Balaton I try to find an apartment as this was way overpriced for the quality had been offered.
