Ostello Lunga via Delle Dolomiti
I was originally to stay for 1 night. After seen Dolomite, I felt in love with Alps and end up stayed for a week. Ostello is the best home base. The location is very driving accessible to all major hiking routes without the high rate of hotels in Cortina. Marco and Rosie treated the guests like families. Everyone is greeted, all travelling questions were all answered. Marco is super knowledgeable about the mountains hiking sites. Guests are from all over the world. I met ppl from Australia, France, Germany, USA, Italy of course the locals. The kitchen is fully equipped, Moca coffee pots, refrig, stove, kettle...and open 24hrs, in case you need hot tea or instant soup in the middle of the night. I don't want to move on if it is not because my holiday ends soon. I will definitely come back whenever I visit Dolomite again.

Dangerous for women
Dangerous for women. This is a large house/hotel with several rooms, each room has the same key. The house is mostly used by young men who are traveling or working alone from this house. Not only does every room have the same key, but that same key also works for the only toilet and bathroom out there. I (wife) was here with a friend and boyfriend and that friend and I were chased while we tried to go to the bathroom and we got comments to our heads. Once in the bathroom, men tried to open the door, but we had left the key in the lock. Otherwise the room was okay, but the bed was bad, the showers were clean but there were about 5 without cubicles so everyone should shower together. The toilets were very dirty. There was a separate men's and women's bathroom but the men who stayed there used them both. I hardly ever write a review, but feel obliged to warn other women. Even the receptionist asked my friend when he came there to check in with who he was and when he said he was with two women she wished him luck and gave her personal number in case there was anything.....

Very unwelcomed place, really bad experience
I never experienced such a bad place.
I was made very unwelcome when I got there. Rosi who runs the hostel
was very rude and not made me feel welcome when I got there. I booked the room based on a phone call and I was told that it would cost €35 per night when I got there I was given a room and I was charged €70 cash and I never was given a receipt . I was given a room with a broken bed so that I had to sleep on the floor.

La signora aveva prenotato tre notti presso la nostra struttura, ma ha soggiornato soltanto la prima notte e successivamente è scappata via senza avvisare né pagare le restanti due notti. Per questo motivo non è stato possibile consegnarle la fattura.
Durante il soggiorno, la signora si è comportata in modo offensivo e ha rivolto commenti razzisti nei miei confronti, mettendo in dubbio la mia capacità di gestire la struttura a causa della mia nazionalità e del fatto che l’italiano non è la mia lingua madre.
Per quanto riguarda il letto, la signora ha danneggiato uno dei due letti presenti nella stanza, ma ha comunque dormito nell’altro letto disponibile.
