Special place, become place of the heart

We were looking for a special place to have a reunion with friends and couldn't make a better choice. The castle, authentic and full of charm, is nestled among green hills in a convenient area to visit the main attractions of the region. The area of the Beric Hills has revealed a fascinating and regenerating nature, which we did not know.
What made our weekend truly unforgettable was the welcome of the owners: they make you feel immediately at home with a kindness and incredible availability.
A gem were visits to the wineries in the area, discovering wines from the area, including tastings and beautiful landscapes.
It was the perfect base for a weekend with friends looking for relaxation, nature and of course, good wine.
Thanks to the owners for pampering us, we will definitely be back!

Like a movie

I loved Il Castello! It's location is amazing, on the top of a vineyard. The place has a beautiful garden where you can have rest while you are enjoying the wonderful view of the valley. We had dinners and breakfasts in the garden, which was big enough to feel not to be disturbed by the other guests. The apartments are furnished nicely, harmonising with the history of the mansion. I didn't feel that the furnitures would have been run-down, the rooms were comfortable and neat. The owner, Elda was friendly with us. She helped everything we asked, but she was not too much. Her behaviour was just what we needed. She helped if we asked, but she did not disturbed us. I really feel tiresome those hosts who are always looking after me, making me feel uncomfortable with his/her permanent control. Elda was perfect for us: she advised us good restaurants, explained how to get to places, provided us with maps.
I recommend Il Castello to all of those who wants to have rest in an amazing, calm ambience, surrounded by history and welcomed by a host who treats her guest as adults and let them enjoy their stay.

Ausruhen im antiken Ambiente

Die Lage ist etwas ausserhalb von Barbarano aber deshalb auch sehr ruhig. Im Ort selbst gibt es nette Lokale, gute Restaurants und superleckeres Eis in der Gelateria. Wir waren mit der Familie zu Ostern 2015 im Castello also Anfang April, deshalb war alles noch eher karg aber die Aussenanlage ist trotzdem traumhaft schön. Die Zimmer sind mit antiken Möbeln ausgestattet und ansonsten Küche und Bad ganz funktionell. Die Besitzerin ist etwas wortkarg aber freundlich.

Aria, sole, vista, tranquillità e atmosfera

Conosco il Castello di può dire ... da sempre. Al grande fascino della località, con i Colli Berici alle spalle e la pianura fin dove arriva l'occhio, e il sole che percorre tutto il suo arco senza ostacoli, e il silenzio (non sempre: d'estate ci sono le cicale di giorno e i grilli di notte, io questo lo chiamo natura...) si unisce il piacere del soggiorno in una villa patrizia storica. L'arredamento, che comunque è funzionale, è quello che mi aspetto in una struttura di questa classe, i mobili sono di famiglia, non di Ikea per intenderci! Per il resto gli appartamentini sono attrezzati con tutte le dotazioni necessarie.

Очень приятное, красивое, уютное место. Очень! Хозяйка Эльда, приятная, доброжелательная дама, живет в главном доме. Гостевые апартаменты и комнаты находятся в отдельном здании. Тишина, никого нет. Огромная территория с древними фонтанами. Красота. Если не возьмете апартаменты, то не расстраивайтесь. Рядышком огромная отдельная кухня, которой Эльда позволяет пользоваться. Равно как имеется стиральная машина. С wi-fi нет вообще проблем. В распоряжении гостя большое плато, со стульями, столиками, с которого с высоты видны окрестности. Очень прикольно завтракать, ужинать подобно патрицию какому римскому )) Спустившись в городочек можно прикупить все что нужно в магазинах, покушать мороженого. Отношение местных хорошее. В этом месте и чувствуется итальянский колорит.
