A good stop on the Via del Sale.

A simple and spartan hotel with clean rooms and bathrooms.
Excellent fish dinner.
Fausto, the owner, is a very welcoming person.

Assuming the extremely convenient location for those doing the Via del Sale, the food is good, genuine, and typical: the added value, however, is Fausto, who is absolutely available for advice, help, and everything regarding the area.

Rest and hospitality

Overnight at Caprile at the end of the 3rd stage of the Salt/Sea Route. After 25 km of walking you only ask for rest and a hearty dinner. All seasoned with the sympathy of Fausto who also gave me some tips for the next day and.... a proper breakfast!!

Stage of the Salt Road

Fausto welcomed us in his hotel with kindness and sympathy. It was a stop on the Salt Road, so it served as a support for one night. The room was spotless, stocked with soaps and soaps (not discounted in all facilities). After the shower we took a ride in the village, to reach the center we walked and then we climbed the hill with the bus. The dinner was based on super fresh fish and cooked very well. The hearty breakfast, served under a cool pergola and with a wonderful view of the high. We were also served the focaccia (still hot) from Recco. Nearby I report a delicious ice cream shop. Recommended as a support for the Salt Route.

Excellent discovery

Classic cosy family atmosphere, like feeling at home; the property is a bit dated but kept well and clean. We spent one night, had dinner and enjoyed breakfast. Very good home cooking with fresh fish, great and plentiful breakfast. Council, to be returned
