Second part of our South Tyrol trip
We (2 adults and an eight-year-old boy) were guests for six nights at the Landsitz Stroblhof in Dorf Tirol. The hotel was our second stop on our South Tyrol trip.
Overall, we are satisfied with the experience at the hotel. The staff members were friendly and accommodating, especially at the breakfast buffet and at the reception.
We had requested a specific room layout within our room category. This request was fulfilled, which made us very happy. Thank you very much for that. I would like to highlight the screen door on the terrace door; you rarely find that, but it is so helpful. The view from the balcony and the balcony furniture were very nice!
The panorama pool on the roof is very attractively designed and well-maintained and invites you to relax.
Overall, we were missing a few things that would have made the hotel stay better for us.
Especially at the panorama pool, there is a lack of options to lie in the shade. Almost all of the lounge chairs are in the blazing sun from the afternoon on.
The furnishings of the entire hotel complex and the room seemed higher quality and better maintained in the pictures to us than they were in reality. That was somewhat disappointing for us.
At breakfast, I would like to highlight the great live cooking station; here, eggs, crepes, and avocado toasts are prepared very lovingly. Overall, we were missing more variety, especially with the cheese, and the presentation of cold cuts and cheese seemed unappealing. The selection of fruit and rolls/baked goods was plentiful. We got a seat on the terrace every morning and were thus able to enjoy the great view during breakfast.
In the room, we were definitely missing a coffee machine as well as cups and glasses. For us, that is part of the standard, even at 4 stars.
We really enjoyed our second week of vacation at Landsitz Stroblhof, but due to the points mentioned, we would very likely not consider the hotel again for ourselves. We thank you sincerely for the lovely time!

4 days is too little!
The hotel completes the overall impression of South Tyrol as a perfect holiday resort. It is everything you want as a guest. You rooms are big and new, the view is awesome, the Skypool fantastic and the breakfast buffet wonderful. The management and staff were present, attentive and prudent. We hiked, biked and played golf. We went shopping in Merano and Bolzano. The one-way trip over the Rechnpass is worthwhile ... even the return trip over the passes Ofen and Flüela was an experience. We will definitely come back.

A DAY IMMERSED IN RELAXATION AND GREENERY
We stayed at this hotel only one night, but we would have done many more!
Staff available, very kind, attentive to our every need.
Really nice rooms, clean and comfortable.
Although there is no real restaurant inside the structure there is a bistro where you can taste cutting boards, salads, sandwiches and other typical specialties and in the afternoon guests are offered a free dessert tasting!
Fabulous breakfast buffet!
Numerous swimming pools suitable for all ages, well-equipped and well-kept wellness center, but the real highlight of the hotel is definitely the rooftop skypool with 360-degree views of the mountains!
We will definitely be back!

Absolutely recommended! Very nice new rooms with a great view, mega breakfast, reasonable prices, very friendly staff, clean, everything is there, you are looked after very friendly and they help you with everything, very accommodating owner family!
