Loved everything about this property. Breakfast buffet, restaurant, lobby, pool, staff, room with a view, cold ac. I could go on & on 💖 Wish we could stay longer!

DONNOT BOOK HERE!!! Terrible experience!!!
DO NOT BOOK HERE IF YOU LIKE AIR CONDITIONING! This hotel likes to present as posh and luxury, but it definitely is not. We paid $827 for three nights. Upon check in, our room was warm (27.5 Celsius) but figured it was from not having the amenities turned on until we arrived. This temperature stayed consistent until after sundown. By 11pm, it only dropped to 25.4. This was brought to the attention of hotel staff who brought us a fan, but that has hardly remedied the issue. When asked if anything else could be done, they told us that the hotel is just hot, that every room had this issue, and there was nothing else that could be done. The other issues, ants in the room and a dirty floor, are hardly a concern for us considering we will be extremely warm for the entirety of our stay. For anyone who appreciates being comfortable in their accommodations, run far, far away from this hotel and book something that will be worth your hard earned money.

Disappointing.
So, a beautiful property, but at breakfast, cups and glasses are missing; when there are many people like me waiting for glasses, the girls, through no fault of their own, would bring plastic cups,,,, Friday we asked for beach towels and the answer was ,,,we are sorry but there are none until Monday, it's a shame because it takes so little since the location is fantastic, but I'm sorry, it's really disappointing for a 4-star hotel.

Hotel Punta Tipa, Sicily
The photos and description on Booking give in our opinion a much nicer picture than reality. And that is exactly where the biggest disappointment lies for us: if we had had a realistic picture of the hotel, the beach and the immediate surroundings in advance, we would never have booked this hotel.
On Booking Punta Tipa is presented as a stylish seaside hotel with a private sandy beach. The photos give the impression of a well-kept and attractive environment. What we found was really different. The rooms were not well clean, with bugs in the bathroom and dirty windows. The comfort was also disappointing due to very hard beds and pillows.
The atmosphere in the hotel was unpleasant and the staff did not appear welcoming. During our stay there was also disturbing intimate behaviour in the pool, which made the experience extra unpleasant.
Especially the presentation of the outdoor space and the “private sandy beach” we find misleading. The hotel is located directly on waste land and is not fenced. The homeless slept against the hotel’s outer wall, which made the immediate surroundings feel unpleasant and unsafe. The private sandy beach mentioned on Booking is in reality no more than a small piece of sand estimated to be about 20 m2, largely surrounded by rocks. We thought that did not match the image that the photos and description conjured up for us beforehand.
Eventually we ended our stay early and went to another hotel. We've never done that before.
The sea view is beautiful, but given the price, the high reviews on Booking and especially the way the hotel is presented there, we expected something completely different. Our advice is therefore not to rely solely on the photos and description on Booking. We would not book here again.

Nice hotel right by the ocean. Nice and calm pool area and easy access to the beach. Enjoy beautiful sunsets from the restaurant or patio. The surrounding area is run down and not too interesting. Note that Trapani old town and the harbour is 2,5 km from the hotel. I found the staff to have quite an attitude.
