Cozy with amazing views
Very rustic hotel with an amazing location and view to Lago di Como. Both room and bathroom were very spacious. The heater works perfectly and the room was warm.
The breakfast was good, it had bread, croissants, yogurts, fruit, juices, coffee...
The the restaurant/bar "Bar Italia" that belongs to the hotel has good and cheap food (pizza, pasta, cheese, ham, salads, etc.).
The room doors and the window covers are a bit loose and let the light get in.

Best lower price option for a stay in Torno.
Tornoallariva B&B is the best lower price option for a stay in Torno, convenient to Como and the surrounding area. The bar is open long hours for food, and the side entrance is perfect for self catering people who may need to arrive or leave in the off hours.

Really original small town italian restaurant
We stayed at the only nearby hotel, but did take all our meals at the Tornoallariva B&B at the piazza directly to the small harbor of Torno. This is a small local italian restaurant with an extremely relaxed atmosphere and very good food for a good price. A lot of local citizens visited this restaurant during the day and especially during the evening.
Service was top notch and when you in the afternoon ordered a drink you got a basket of potato chips for free. When ordering drinks in the evening you got a plate with small local specialities, also for free. The owners where extremely nice and did a hard job to serve all guests even on sunday evening where there was more than many guests on the piazza.
You must try their pizza with crudo and ruccola, one of the best and largest pizzas we have ever had.
Service was top notch and when you in the afternoon ordered a drink you got a basket of potato chips for free. Wonderful, friendly place to stay by Lake Como!
We chose to stay here for six nights based on a friend's recommendation and what a great find this lovely place was!!
The B&B is located above Bar Italia, right by lake, with boat stop right in front, very convenient to get around the lake by boat. Como is approx 30 mins by boat.
Parking is not too far, by the school building up a set of steps, some non-paying and some paying parking. We always managed to park in the free parking areas.
We stayed in Room Dior, with a gorgeous view onto square and lake) and the room was huge! Comes with private bath, which is also very big. Has a balcony also overlooking the lake. The bar underneath the B&B is always busy with locals and they serve lovely food and drinks.
The owner and staff are the friendliest you will ever meet, we even got talking to some locals whilst staying there.
Breakfast is continental with a selection of bread, croissants, cold cuts, ham, tomatoes, mozzarella and other cheeses, jam, Nutella, bread and corn flakes / muesli. Wifi available in the bar area free of charge.
There are a few places to eat locally (either at the B&B, or a restaurant on the other side of the square, or another one about 10 minutes' walk away), but also in neighbouring towns and villages.
There were some families with young kids staying there too whilst we were there so I think it's perfect for families and also couples or solo travellers.
The staff are extremely helpful, there was nothing we could ask that they wouldn't help us with, including train times to Milan from Como city for our day trip, landing us an umbrella one evening, etc. They were always smiling and just genuinely kind, lovely people.
We had an amazing stay there and would thoroughly recommend it for anyone who wishes to stay in a tranquil, very authentic place by Lake Como, yet close to the buzz of the place. You will not be able to find a friendlier place there! If we were to visit Lake Como in the future, this is the place we'd be staying at!

Un endroit authentique au charme fou!
Si vous cherchez le luxe, passez votre chemin. Par contre, si vous êtes à la recherche d’un endroit authentique, loin de la foule et sur un petit port magnifique, alors vous êtes au bon endroit. L’hôtel est situé dans une vieille bâtisse avec un charme fou, des chambres avec un petit balcon pour l’apéro surplombant le port. La terrasse en treillis directement sur le port avec un happy hour extraordinaire: une assiette de tapas offerte pour tout verre commandé . Le personnel est charmant et attentionné. Excellent petit-déjeuner. Le tout pour un prix modique au bord du lac de Côme!!!
