Fantastic.

I stayed for three days with my family at this wonderful hotel, great staff, always helpful and friendly. Rooms always clean and tidy. Excellent food formula half board very advantageous. Highly recommended as a Hotel

Hotel nestled in the mountains

A really welcoming hotel, set in a fairytale landscape. The rooms and interiors tastefully decorated and attention to detail. The rooms are simple and cozy. Only note to note: the typical items (shower shampoo, cap) that are usually supplied are not available. Otherwise really very nice and clean

Excellent

Very convenient location, close to the center, free parking. Very large room and well cleaned. Excellent hospitality, very kind and friendly owner and staff. Very good breakfast and restaurant with super pizzeria!! All great and plentiful. I recommend it!!!

Disinterested staff, sometimes very unfriendly

We are 2 couples, 2 double rooms were booked for one night. When we arrived in the afternoon, the reception was not manned. After about 10 minutes we found an annoyed lady in the bar (I can't split up) who sent us to an apartment in another building: there are 2 double rooms! Even after asking several times, we got no answer as to whether there were 2 bathrooms. The key didn't fit in the front door, so we went back with all our luggage. She found a man who let us in but didn't give us a front door key. There were 2 double rooms in the apartment, but only 1 bathroom with 1 toilet and no key for the door.
We absolutely did not agree with that. The lady tried to reach the manager. At 5 p.m. the "head of reception" came. He apologized and tried hard. One couple stayed in the apartment, the other had to wait until 7.30 p.m. for a room. It was too late to visit Sterzing, the shops were already closed, so we were forced to eat in the hotel. The pizza was good (a beer costs €6.50), but the service left a lot to be desired. Here, too, you got the feeling that you were being a bit of a nuisance. The comments at the next table confirmed our impression. Nevertheless, we had another drink at the bar. The lady in question served us here. She was very unfriendly, slammed doors, stomped on glasses. Another guest asked politely: "Can I order something to drink?", her answer: "Yes, if I have glasses!" The guest left the bar without saying a word.
We didn't see the boss all evening.
The breakfast was very poor: 1 type of doughy roll, no bread, cold boiled eggs, no other eggs, 1 type of cheese slices, sausage and ham were only replenished on request, no fresh fruit or vegetables.
We had imagined the end of our crossing of the Alps to be different.
The atmosphere in the Hubertushof is very tense, hectic and sometimes very unfriendly.

Typical Italian hotel convenient to motorway.

An old fashioned hotel, with plenty of charm though not much from the staff. Although to be fair, on arrival a young woman working in the bar went out of her way to guide us to the right part of the building where we were to stay and spoke excellent English. Even after a 24 hour stopover I hadn’t managed to work out what the local language was, but Italian is understood in the restaurant. Small bedroom and bathroom in need of modernising but not unpleasant. Rather strange mix of interior styles. Dinner in the restaurant was ok, likewise breakfast, service was bad tempered but amusing.
