The best hotel in Scalea, a guarantee
We stayed at Hotel Talao and we had a really great time! Antonio and Ada were super kind, helpful, and always ready to meet our needs, including the shuttle service to and from the station.
The property is very beautiful and the food is truly exquisite. The Ferragosto lunch was something special: it felt like being at a real wedding, with a fantastic atmosphere and so much attention to detail.
A special thanks goes to the entertainment team, which allowed us to have fun and, above all, to make friends with the other hotel guests. A special thanks to Milla for her fantastic water aerobics classes, always engaging and fun!
The property also organizes beautiful boat trips, an excellent opportunity to admire the beauty of the area directly from the sea.
Our room had a fantastic view and every evening we had the chance to admire some truly spectacular sunsets.
A beautiful experience, made of good food, friendliness, fun, and breathtaking landscapes. Highly recommended! ❤️

Fabulous vacation!!!
I spent the week of Ferragosto at Hotel Talao together with my friends and we can say it without hesitation: it was a simply spectacular vacation!
A special thanks goes first and foremost to Antonio and Ada, and to all their staff, for having welcomed and accompanied us throughout the week with truly extraordinary kindness, availability, and professionalism. You can perceive at every moment the passion and attention they put into their work, and this truly makes the difference. You made us feel pampered, at home, and part of a big family.
We found impeccable service, excellent cuisine, great attention to guests, and truly top-notch organization. Everything was taken care of down to the smallest detail and we lacked absolutely nothing to experience a week of pure relaxation, good food, fun, and lots of great company.
And then a special, or rather very special, praise goes to the legendary Milla, our water aerobics instructor! Her classes were one of the best moments of the vacation: energy, friendliness, enthusiasm, and great professionalism. Every class was an unmissable appointment, capable of involving us all and always giving us a lot of joy. Milla is truly a force of nature and a person who leaves a mark: heartfelt compliments!
Thanks again to Antonio, Ada, and the entire Hotel Talao staff for giving us a wonderful week, made of relaxation, delicious food, laughter, attention, and lots and lots of great company.

Fantastic Ferragosto
On the occasion of our first time at the Talao, during the festive summer week, we can only sing superlative praises to the property and to all the staff that represents it.
A special thanks goes to the maître d' Francesco and to the guys who cooked for us and served us, all attentive and thoughtful even with the gluten-free menu: a culinary paradise for a celiac. Every one of our needs was met to the best of our ability.

They knew how, with their skill and friendliness, to entertain both children and adults, giving us the opportunity to meet wonderful families with special hearts, from every point of view. What does an entertainer do? As Francesco Arno says, he transforms a moment from static to dynamic, studying the character of the people who, for a week, only want to "park" their daily thoughts and dream a little with new and smiling faces. A Relaxing Holiday with Outstanding Hospitality
We had a fantastic family holiday at Hotel Taleo. The hotel was always spotless, the sea view was beautiful, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming.
The food was one of the highlights of our stay – delicious local dishes every day. A special thank you to Francesco and his team for their excellent service and genuine hospitality. They made us feel at home.
We enjoyed every single day and were genuinely sad to leave. We would happily come back and highly recommend Hotel Taleo to anyone looking for a relaxing seaside holiday.

A cosy family hotel
It was our fifth time at this cosy family hotel. Every time we start planning a trip, we look at other places and realize that we want to go only to Talao.
The staff there is super friendly, welcoming and helpful.
The rooms are nice and clean. We prefer to stay in more spacious cottages though.
The food at the restaurant is excellent. The chef is creative and offers food traditional for this region. The waiters are well trained thanks to the restaurant manager Francesco who is doing a perfect job. The atmosphere at the restaurant has changed a lot after he started working there. He is a true professional.
We appreciate everything Ada is doing for this place.
Definitely want to keep coming here.
