The ravioli.

A hotel from another era when the valley had an endless flow of visitors, now kept in excellent condition, and the highlight is the restaurant with straightforward cuisine that tells the story of the territory, even for those outside the hotel.
Fair prices and courtesy in service, along with excellent raw materials.
The wine list is somewhat subject to the market, but there are also interesting choices from the sommelier.
If you pass through Sampeyre, it is worth a visit.

Lunch in Sampeyre.

We did not stay at this hotel; we only stopped for lunch, and I definitely think we will return! The appetizers and two dishes of Ravioli, all very delicious. Quick service, fair prices.

Great hotel and restaurant

Great hotel to stay in the beautiful Varaita Valley. Spacious and comfortable rooms, very clean. Restaurant and breakfast at the top. Owners and staff available for every need and courteous. Large and comfortable indoor and outdoor common areas. The only flaw: the bathrooms have only the bathtub without even a curtain and with a low shower, so it is impossible to take a shower without flooding everything and doing stunts!

Ravioles, courtesy: in short, unforgettable stay

On holiday with a nice group of friends, quite large. Comfortable hotel, clean rooms and bathrooms, basic furnishings. The staff is particularly courteous and helpful for every situation, from walking tips to the various needs of a group. The second strong point, along with the staff, is certainly the restaurant. Always very good and plentiful, with ample willingness to take into account the various needs. And then the highlight and unsurpassed: the ravioles. Point of reference for the whole valley, not to be missed.
Great stay experience, absolutely recommended, and to repeat!

A genuinely mountain choice

We are a large group that annually goes to the mountains for a week. In 2025 we chose Val Varaita and this hotel. Spacious, clean, spacious in common areas and rooms (whose equipment is spartan). With many rooms and a large restaurant, it offers a completely familiar hospitality, with professionalism, courtesy, wealth of information, Quality of food, excellent wi-fi. Very close to the historic center, I highly recommend it for both families and individuals or groups who love the "real" and uninflated mountains. For the digestive after the meal, I recommend asking the bartender for a Genepy "36", winking. He will understand and you can enjoy a great drink
