Arbnb with hotel name.

This is not a hotel, given that there is no 24-hour reception service.
This is a type of Arbnb where there is a reception, some "good" rooms available, and a person who performs the cleaning, puts bottles of water and tea in the rooms.
If you need help, you have a whatsapp that works in business hours and respond quickly.
The building is quite old, the shower sometimes cools while you are taking a bath but is quite clean.
The Elevator is of those of the past century, you have to be careful when using, wait for the noise confirming that it stopped to try to open the door (surreal rsrs).
The location is fantastic for doing several walking tours.
It is 850 metres from Fontana di Trevi and Rome Terminal Station.
One tip is to take those tourist buses (there are several companies), they pass through several tourist points, buy a 3-day ticket and go visiting these tourist points by bus, it pays a lot since they have stops near the tourist points and you can take as many times as you want during the 3 days.

Total disappointment.

The room where we stayed was nowhere near what they show in the pictures, I made the claim at the reception and they told me they only had that room, it was too small, everything was very old, it had no window, the bed, pillows and sheets did not smell good. The only thing to rescue is its location.

Nice rooms helpful staff!

Came here for my first time in Rome . Massimo was very hospitable and helped us with anything we needed. He even allowed us to charge our phones after we checked out before we left for the train station. Definitely would recommend!

We couldn‘t stay there and lost a lot of money.

Before Corona we booked a room for 2 nights and could not enter due to Corona. We were then promised that we could redeem the reservation at another time. Now when we wanted to redeem this voucher, it says that we should have redeemed it 1 year after booking, which was not possible at all due to Corona. This voucher is therefore expired and we also got no money back. We were not told that the voucher has a validity date!!!
Something like this is not acceptable and unfair. Poor service and not trustworthy. I would never book in this hotel again

all our customers used the voucher within the 12 month expiration date.
If you do not respect the expiry date of the voucher it is not our responsibility.
However your review is not about the experience at our property as you could not make the stay.

Don’t be fooled

Based on the reviews and pictures online we thought we got a great Deal. The location of the place is great as you can walk to the majority of Rome’s sights within 15-30 min.
Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. We had dead flies and spots of liquid on the wall, and random hairs around the place.
We stayed for a week and the room did not get cleaned once, apparently due to COVID.. come on. The only thing that got cleaned was the trash can in the bathroom, which had spots of black mold on the ceiling above the shower.
We dreaded coming home to the place at night, and only managed to fall asleep after at least one bottle of wine.. seriously though, please management, prioritise cleanliness and have Someone clean the rooms daily. Or at least make sure the rooms are spotless before new guests arrive.
If you’re a student on a budget and only stay for a few days, sure, go for it. Otherwise, spend a little bit more money and get yourself a nicer place.
Will not come back. Do not recommend.
