As described, everything was clean and newly renovated. It was a very pleasant stay.

Opera Dreams is in a great location. 15 minutes to the Colosseum, 10 minutes to the train station, etc. We were very satisfied! The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was newly renovated. We had everything we needed for a city trip. If you have any questions, you can contact us via WhatsApp.

Don’t book this place!!!

Here in Rome now wit my spouse celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. This place is horrific. Tiny room, a/c doesn’t work, bathroom is filthy dirty. Lacking in supplies, tissue bathmat. 3 keys to use to get in the building but
first you must press the buzzer for someone to come and open the door upon arrival. There is no reception area and no one here in person. Communication is thru WhatsApp. We will see what happens when they reply to our Whatsapp message!!! Seriously underwhelmed!!!

Leaves something to be desired

3 stars which leaves a lot to be desired, the room was spacious and the bathroom and shower were large but there were many things that were not right: the blackout curtain only covered half the window and the shutters were blocked and could not be closed like that in the morning soon the room was brightly lit, the minibar was present but empty, there was also a kettle with two coffee cups but there were no tea or herbal tea bags present, breakfast was not included in the room rate which was quite high .
The location is positive in the central area and very close to buses and the subway as well as restaurants and bars.

Terrible experience. Not the only guest with the same problem.

Customer service was unacceptable. The heater does not heat up the entire room for starters there was no Wi-Fi. We had to go and walk to a back room to get a Wi-Fi code and by the time you walk away, it’s still doesn’t work. We let staff know about this on day one and just continued getting the runaround. We did not have any Wi-Fi for the entire stay. we had to wait until we went to restaurants to get Wi-Fi to keep in touch with our family. We were told that we would get a 10% refund which is unacceptable. When we spent $1000 on a unit you expect it to be comfortable and have all the amenities you paid for. There were a few times where the door knob fell right off the door and we have to put it back on ourselves. I spoke to customer service after our stay and told him how disappointed we were and they said how much of a refund do you think we should get. I requested 25% for my wife and I which they agreed on today is May 19 and we still have not received a refund. I waited before posting this in hopes that they would respond, but they told us everything from needing a PayPal, we gave the information still nothing. then The reason why they haven’t sent the refund is because it was a holiday. We waited, but three weeks later I told them this is unacceptable. my first international vacation on my honeymoon was not good from a hotel standpoint. We ended up having to get the bank and involved so they would honor their promise of a refund. Also, there is not a receptionist or staff available 24 hours a day so if you run out of toilet paper, you’re just stuck.

Good location, Good value

The location is very convenient, close to all types of transportation. A lot of restaurants nearby. Helpful host but you will need to contact them upon or before your arrival to avoid waiting. The room is not very new nor big but with this price we considered it as good value.
