One of Rome’s best kept secrets!

Loved this hotel so much! The location is just amazing, easy walk or taxi to all important sights! Staff just outstanding!!!! Lovely touch of breakfast items and coffee, water etc. Beds comfy, air con amazing and fan needed due to intense heatwave but that was so powerful! Housekeeping spot on! Just an absolute gem! Value for money too! Very impressed and would recommend - thank you for a wonderful 3 night stay!

Will not return.

Positives
Close to everything and we walked everywhere. Reasonably priced shops close by. We were never in the hotel (see below).
Negatives.
Hotel images are not the same as the rooms. Another review said this and the hotel responded and disputed this - I can agree the images are much different than reality. Interesting others complained about rooms and were moved. After Venice and Florence we were bitterly disappointed.
We arrived and were given a room that was filthy, air conditioning not working (still not great when moved so bought fans!), the room 204 was a disgrace. The shower gel was empty and when we came back to the room at night the TV remote was missing and a strong smell of cigarette smoke! I contacted and complained someone had clearly been in our room. Images attached. I complained and after an obscene amount of messages we were moved immediately that evening (I asked for a refund for the following three days and city tax otherwise and I would have gone).
Next room was better (201) in terms of size and some of the features looked like the images advertised however still not fully clean. It really did ruin our overall experience of Rome which is such a shame.
So we decided to stay out all the time (we even booked a day at a private pool to enjoy some sunshine, a break and clean facilities). I would never return to this hotel.
Hopefully my review and images are not taken down as this is a really honest projection of what we experienced.

Wonderful experience, great value, service & staff.

Great location, fantastic price, Ornella is very welcoming, friendly & helpful. The hotel’s air conditioner works well & the hotel is very clean & comfortable. Loved staying here!

Amazing air conditioned rooms and lovely hospitality

One of the best hotels we have stayed in, in Europe. We were warmly welcomed by the beautiful Ornella. You are perfectly located near the top of the Spanish steps where you can take stunning photos. Ornella is incredibly helpful in finding different places to see and helps with transportation and so much more. Comfortable air conditioned room, delicious coffee and even yummy croissants in the morning. We would love to stay here again and sad to leave tomorrow. Thank you for everything.

Lovely Hotel in perfect location

Lovely Hotel in a perfect location with wonderfully kind staff. Had an issue with our room and it was sorted with no fuss whatsoever and room changed. The rooms were comfortable and so close to everything. The staff were brilliant and so friendly and the breakfast snacks were a nice surprise. Will definitely stay again...when in rome!!
