In the heart of Rimini

Hotel outside the context of the Romagna Riviera, modern, clean with unique rooms and an extremely well-kept bathroom with a wooden floor. The restaurant is also excellent with affordable prices, staff attentive to the customer's needs. Recommended for business stays.

Nice design, but service could be improved

We stayed at the Duomo Hotel for two nights and overall had a mixed experience.
The hotel itself is very nice, with a modern and stylish design in a fantastic location in the historic city centre of Rimini. It is a beautiful property and the design gives the hotel a special atmosphere.
We booked two Superior Rooms, which were spacious and comfortable, with particularly large bathrooms.
Unfortunately, the service was not quite what we expected from a 4-star hotel. The reception team was not particularly warm or welcoming, and we rarely received a smile. In general, we found the staff to be rather reserved and not as genuinely friendly and welcoming as we have experienced in other hotels.
Rooms:
The Superior Rooms were spacious and the bathrooms were huge, which we really appreciated.
However, the minibar refrigerators in both rooms were not cooling properly, which was disappointing and something we would expect to work in a 4-star hotel.
Breakfast:
Breakfast was okay and offered a reasonable variety of different products. However, we missed some typical Italian options such as prosciutto, ricotta and mozzarella. For us, these would have been a nice addition, especially in a hotel in Rimini.
Hotel bar:
One evening, the hotel bar was not open, which we found disappointing for a 4-star hotel. Having the possibility to enjoy a drink at the hotel in the evening is something we would expect, especially when staying in a city-centre hotel.
Overall:
The Duomo Hotel has a lot going for it – especially its beautiful modern design, spacious rooms and excellent location in the historic centre of Rimini.
However, the lack of warmth from the staff, the minibar issue in both rooms and the closed hotel bar on one evening meant that our experience did not fully meet our expectations for a 4-star hotel.

Good hotel but parking cost is out of place

Modern, clean hotel, good breakfast and very kind and efficient staff, right in the historic center. For everything just described I would have given a rating of 4 points, I stopped at 3 only because the hotel parking is truly excessive, €22 per night, we are in Rimini not in New York. I believe that for a 4-star hotel €15 would already be a good compromise.

Very modern hotel , good sized rooms, excellent breakfast.
Location perfect for exploring the many delights of Rimini's old town.
Third time l have stayed there.
Negatives- some problems with toilet flush but sorted speedily and a doubling of price for the last day due to a big conference being held in Rimini.
