Excellent stay at Hotel Perusia

Clean, functional hotel with young, efficient, and polite staff.
Spacious and well-maintained room, impeccable bathroom. Excellent location in Perugia, convenient for reaching the center and the main attractions.
Very good value for money: I recommend it and will gladly return.

Nightmare 4 star hotel. 3 is too many

Hotel to forget. I purchased the night on an agency 174 + tourist tax, for me and my family. I got a triple, but on our arrival we found a double with a cot under the window attached to the marquee, the broken safe, the mirror on the closet with insulating tape and the drain that enchanted. Dirty carpeting is saying little, even the armchair in the desk was filthy. Never again! The only positive note the breakfast. For one night, I avoided discussions at the facility.

Faded glory

Located on the edge of the city center, a position that I appreciated, the hotel is far from the commercial policies linked to the frantic vitality of Umbria Jazz, such as the requirement for a minimum number of nights, since our stay was aimed exclusively at the Sting concert.
The property looks dated, a witness to a certainly glorious four-star past, but today it appears to struggle to maintain the standards that one would expect from this category. I reported some anomalies during the stay, but for two days my reports remained ignored. The presence of an internal parking lot and a garage was appreciated.
A peculiarity that left me perplexed is the absence of an internal staircase: movement between floors takes place exclusively via elevator. In case of a breakdown, it is necessary to use the external fire escape, which should lead to a meeting point.
What makes the difference is the staff, who are always available, professional, and attentive to the needs of the guests, particularly regarding food intolerances. Dedicated products are offered and, upon request, it is possible to have made-to-order items for breakfast, which is also rich, varied, and abundant. Although the memories of those healthy and genuine fresh-squeezed orange juices have been lost.
Overall, I award three stars: a judgment that reflects the good work of the staff, but also the need for a significant modernization of the property, without setting further expectations.
