A corner of paradise in the heart of Salento
Fabulous experience shared with my teenage daughter! Perfect location for a relaxing vacation. Clean rooms furnished with taste, immersed in the greenery of a splendid pine forest facing the sea. Everything taken care of down to the smallest detail. Kind and professional staff, abundant breakfast with local products including the delicious pasticciotto. Highly recommended for those looking for authenticity

Relaxation in Salento.
A splendid place immersed in greenery and just steps from the sea, but also very close to Gallipoli. Friendly and helpful staff, small but comfortable rooms, and a satisfying breakfast.

A small corner of paradise in the heart of Salento
We had the pleasure of staying at Dimora Relais Excelsa, at Lido Conchiglie in Gallipoli, and we can say with certainty that it was one of the most beautiful experiences lived on holiday.
The property is surrounded by greenery, quiet, relaxing, in a really strategic position. The rooms do not have a direct view of the sea, but it is as if the sea were there: just walk a short internal driveway and, once you open the large gate (with remote control, so very convenient), you are in front of a very nice view. Just a few steps, you cross the street on the pedestrian crossings right in front of you, and you're already on the coast.
You will find yourself in front of a small cliff, walking a few steps you will already have your feet on the sand.
We often went to a lido that we loved, reachable in about three minutes by bike or ten minutes walk along the beach. The journey is pleasant, a quiet asphalt road, perfect also for those who want to enjoy the scenery.
Gallipoli is only 12 minutes by car, very easy to reach thanks to the smooth road, well signposted and well lit even in the evening. This makes Dimora Relais Excelsa the ideal starting point to discover the area (there are lovely beaches to see and beautiful cities, all within walking distance) while enjoying the peace of a less chaotic setting.
The structure is cared for in every detail: the cleanliness is impeccable and the environments welcoming. But what makes it really special is the atmosphere: you immediately feel welcomed, relaxed, in tune with the place.
In front of our room there was a beautiful saltwater swimming pool, surrounded by elegant white stones that in the evening, with soft lights, created an intimate and relaxing atmosphere. A real pleasure for the eyes and the spirit.
Special thanks go to Lorella and Giovanni, two lovely, professional, discreet and caring people. They made us feel immediately at ease, with genuine availability and kindness that made this holiday even more enjoyable.
The breakfast is delicious: every morning we awaited homemade cakes, fresh fruit, yogurt and many small attentions that made start the day with a smile.
Thanks also to the cleaning lady, Alba, always kind and with a smile.
We also loved the opportunity to take advantage of the bicycles made available for free, very convenient not only to explore the surroundings, but also simply to go to the sea in freedom.
As already mentioned, the Dimora Relais Excelsa is the perfect place to discover Salento, especially if you are advised by Lorella and Giovanni: they know the territory thoroughly and will direct you to authentic places, not very touristy but absolutely not to be missed.
A heartfelt thanks also to Cosimo, the owner, for his discreet presence and for the attention he devotes to guests and the structure, cared for with obvious love.
On some days of the week (usually Tuesday or Friday), depending on the presence of the guests, a few yoga moments are also organized, with a session in the morning or evening: an extra opportunity to fully experience the tranquility of this special place.
During our stay we also had the pleasure of dining at their restaurant Villa Excelsa, a few kilometers from the Residence: a pleasant and relaxing dining experience.
A wonderful, authentic structure, managed with passion and care. We recommend it with all our heart... and will definitely be back.

Wonderful.
We stayed in this beautiful home me and my family... wonderful stay! We were greeted by friendly staff and always available for any information... pampered and surrounded by an elegant and charming... the house is surrounded by a well-kept garden where you can relax... the rooms always clean and the breakfast great! The presence of the indoor pool gave us a chance to relax after a day at the beach! A real gem is just the proximity to it, always beautiful and with the possibility to go both on foot and to visit the various Salento beaches... definitely an experience to be redone and that I would recommend to everyone... we definitely leave our hearts... a special thanks to Mino who made us feel at home!

BEYOND EXPECTATIONS
My husband and I stayed a week at this beautiful property attracted by positive reviews. In fact, our experience went even beyond expectations. The location is really nice, nice, clean, quiet and equipped with every comfort (pool, Covered parking for the car, joga on the terrace and much more) but what distinguishes this structure are undoubtedly the hospitality, kindness and helpfulness of Mr. Cosimo (the owner) and all his staff. We were pampered and spoiled by Cosimo who also reserved us the best seats in his restaurant Villa Excelsa in Sannicola a few kilometers away from the House (amazing, but that deserves a separate review), by Lorella who every morning presented us with a super sweet and savory breakfast at zero km with homemade cakes and many pleasant chats and useful tips on how to best experience Salento and Giovanni always ready to advise us on how to move. A mention also to the kindness of Mrs. cleaning whose name, unfortunately, I do not know. What about it? We felt at home, they made our stay memorable and we can only straconsigliare this structure made of professional people but above all from the heart. Thank you very much for everything and hopefully see you soon from Elisa and Maurizio.
