Great B&B, excellent service

The location is ideal, at the beginning of the course, near the square where you can park your car. The building is historic and the B&B is really well furnished, with attention to detail, very welcoming and clean. The host's service is very accurate, very kind and generous with information, advice and everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The beach towels available for guests were appreciated.

A B&B that feels like a 5 star luxury hotel

I spent my summer vacation at Monte Argentario my entire life. This year I didn’t want to stay at our family home there because it was too crowded, so I booked Casa Iris: the best decision ever. My vacation took an incredible twist of taste, culture, perfect temperature conditions, visual and sensorial perfection. I cannot express enough how wonderful Casa Iris is, it was a discovery. Learning from Matthew about the history of Palazzo Raveggi, the restoration process, and the history of the precious furniture was an experience in and of itself.
Not enough great things can be said about the Monte Argentario area, between the wonderful Maremma on the country side , and one of the most beautiful cost lines. It is a gem, not as advertised as other more marketed areas of Italy. Yet, just as gorgeous and full of diverse alternatives. There is no better way to experience it than staying at Casa Iris. The charm of the typical Italian town (Orbetello), combined with the taste and comfort of Casa Iris are simply perfection. I already booked for next year.

A Perfect Stay

Our three night stay at Casa Iris was perfect. The place itself is absolutely beautiful; restored with integrity and designed impeccably with a mid century modern twist. Our room was stunning, extremely comfortable and very clean. This was my first time staying at a bed & breakfast and I was a little hesitant, but it exceeded my expectations. Matthew was a wonderful host; offering the best suggestions, preemptively making reservations to the best restaurants and beaches and all in all just a wonderful person. We could have talked to him for hours. And then the breakfast…it was visually gorgeous, but most importantly, delicious. Advice if you plan to stay at Casa Iris, listen to Matthew, he will not lead you in the wrong direction.

well appointed, clean and sophisticated

ask for room aquamarine. it is the best ! spacious, curated and quiet. host is charming, attentive and very knowledgeable: he will direct to best restaurants and beaches. parking is free and nearby. delicious breakfast is served with beautiful flatware and linen mats

Sleeping in a fairy tale bedroom

This lovely boutique hotel in Orbetello is a very nice place to stay. It’s beautifully decorated by the owners in an old building with frescos. The linen and pillows are very comfortable and the windows isolate the noise. The amenities are very good ones, and a very plus for me was the fantastic hair dryer! The girls with long hair will understand me!
Matthew is a very helpful host, even before our stay he helped us with restaurants suggestions, boat trip bookings and answering our questions ( many) very kindly.
During the Covid situation we had breakfast in a very nice café near the hotel. Everything was delicious! We had a very nice stay! I recommend for all those who appreciate a beautifully decorated room not ordinary one and personnalized attention.
