You could do better

Simple hotel with a family atmosphere. Essential but clean rooms. It has a sauna and offers access to the municipal swimming pool located right in front. Decent buffet even if in a not very happy position. Decent cuisine but there is no choice in the daily menu offered

2026 Vacation

We stayed at this hotel in July 2026. A beautiful hotel. Excellent cuisine. Very kind owners.
We had a room on the second floor, and a breathtaking view. Immersing myself in the nearby mountains gave me so much serenity.
I highly recommend it.

Nice stay

2 nights with half board for one person. Friendly staff, clean quiet place, good food with lots of choice and reasonable price ,close to ski slope.

With the Scherer Dahoam family

Small but fine. The Hotel Scherer is great for a ski trip to Kronplatz. The ski bus stops right outside the hotel door.
We were greeted very friendly, room was good - bathroom although a little dated, but since you only shower briefly in the morning and then we go uphill. Family Scherer helps everywhere themselves and you feel directly a little "Dahoam" - breakfast top! Dinner too, at HP was a 3 - with salad before 4-course dinner. Varied and really delicious. And if you don't like the daily menu, there's an alternative menu.
Parking for free right in front of the house. And in the basement two small saunas and a steam bath.
Yes, the house itself may be a little old - but here the mix is right. It's done a lot new. The room furniture was new! Price-performance is just right here.
We will definitely be back! Thank you!
