Perfect stay!

Traveling for business you tend to always go to the same hotels, a few months ago I wanted to try PEX finding myself well, and these days I repeated the thing, having confirmed that it is a place that has satisfied my every need. Friendly and hospitable staff, perfect organization, clean environments, room with everything you need (water class touch in the fridge), majestic breakfast. Strategic location in the historic center of Mantua. All at a great value for money. Good!

Strict rules, but poor services
"Bad stay. The property expects maximum compliance with its rules and procedures, but does not demonstrate the same respect for the customer by guaranteeing minimum services. The sink of the room is clogged and the water does not drain, while the carpeting of the hallways is in poor hygiene and neglect. It is unacceptable that strictness is demanded of the guest when the maintenance and care of the room are practically non-existent. Not recommended."

Bad experience..... Not recommended

I showed up for business reasons at this 4 star hotel practically in the center of Mantua. I am required on my arrival the advance payment that I immediately make at a figure I would say at 4-star levels and for single person. The room where I stayed had no balcony although confirmedMe but a balcony with two battered and even walled chairs. I am obliged to hang my clothes on the doors as hangers absent in the furniture, the misfortune of using an electric razor did not go well because the socket in the bathroom did not work, the curtains in the only window crawled on the ground for over a meter, the sink did not run off as half broken the bar below..... After working in returning after dinner I try to turn on the television not suitable for size and whatnot to a 4 star hotel.... But even this did not work on a particular evening for me considering the events I wanted to watch. Call reception at 23:00 the TV is not replaced and there are no possibilities.... I've come to terms with it. The following day I thought I would express my disappointment to them, something never done in so many years of work, asking for a partial refund for the inconvenience caused. I had to request after days an answer which was: no thanks the hotel does not consider it necessary to make any refund. Good luck with the next one.

Ideal for a night in the city center.

When staying for just one night, the location is strategic... and certainly the hotel is right in the center of Mantova. Correct structure, clean, and friendly staff. Our room was very large and spacious, with a hot tub and double sink, but a bit outdated. Impeccable cleanliness. Breakfast was average with enough choices and normal quality. Definitely more of a good 3-star than a 4-star, but for one night, it is well worth the cost and stay. Parking is available under the hotel, although it may be under construction and not very accessible.

Only for the location

I give two stars just because the location is really great, practically behind Piazza delle Erbe in the center of Mantua and because the room was spacious. For the rest the 4 stars declared are really an affront. As a welcome they charge you everything, shame about the friendly staff, including breakfast (9.00) and garage (19,00) from the absurd prices that we absolutely did not buy. For breakfast there are many places in the center and also for parking, ..... very close to € 14.00 per day. Non-soundproofed room, heating / air conditioning not editable, emergency light drain tub and shower ups and downs not working, carpet in the corridors not clean.... final treat the TV ! Ascertaining that at the turn-on were displayed only paid channels (Netflix, etc.) we asked: explanation guests log in with their credentials and can see their programs, so no public TV I say. Not that it was important, but then why do you put in your room the list of national channels; and why assume that everyone has subscriptions and accounts for TV.???? Many things to improve if not goodbye 4 stars!!!
