Lovely hotel in a beautiful location

Beautiful hotel in a fantastic location
We had a lovely stay at this beautiful hotel. Our room was clean, modern and comfortable, and we found all of the staff to be extremely helpful and friendly.
The location is fantastic — just a short walk into Lecco along the lovely riverside path. The train station is around a 20-minute walk away, which makes it really easy to explore the surrounding area by public transport.
We would highly recommend this hotel. One thing to be aware of if booking through TUI, however, is that there are no TUI representatives at the hotel and they don’t visit or make contact with you during your stay. Everything is handled through the TUI app and AI assistance.
Also, TUI excursions aren’t available locally unless you travel to Milan. However, we found getting around very easy using the excellent public transport network, so this wasn’t a major issue for us.
Overall, a fantastic hotel in a beautiful location and we would happily stay here again.

Excursions! What excursions

We booked the NH Hotel at Lecco via TUI, so let me cover the positives first the hotel is great, modern, comfortable beds are amazing! Breakfast was great and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The hotel is in a great location close to the town, restaurants and the train station. So, why is that important? Because this hotel is not in a TUI pickup zone, so you will not be picked up from the hotel on any TUI excursions you purchase. They say there are lots of excursions to book through the app but they will all require you to travel to another pickup zone (closest we found was 31km away, the majority of them will require to travel to Milan to pickup the excursion. Which you will need to arrange yourself.
We decided to arrange the trips ourselves, so yeah more hassle but cheaper! That’s why the hotel location helps as it is 20 minute walk to the train station (use the trenord app to book tickets) getting to Bellagio, Monza, Como and Milan are all easy to get too. Another thing about the excursion is if you want to book the trip to St. Moritz the TUI excursion requires to you to travel to Milan to pickup the train to Tirano which will take you back past Lecco!
However, Lecco is a great location to explore and train access to Verano to get the ferry to Bellagio is easy (prepare to queue), Como (go to Como S. Giovanni as its only 1 train change not 2 and a quick walk down the hill to the
Lake).
Monza is the change station for all your F1 fans and for all you bikers the next stop after Lecco is Mandela del Lario which is the home of Moto Guzzi and Moto Guzzi museum.
Overall great hotel, lovely town, great location just let down by TUI, based on excursions farce and truly awful customer support (24x7 support via AI which was about as much use as a chocolate tea pot!

NH Lecco, conveniently located near Lake Como

We have recently been in NH Lecco. A recommendation! The hotel, equipped with all comforts and with extremely friendly and helpful staff, is located on a river by Lake Como. The center, train station, and various restaurants are within walking distance. We would like to come back again!

Wonderful experience

I had a great time at this hotel.
Close to the lake. Delicious breakfast. Clean room, and with excellent air conditioning (the best antidote for this scorching summer). But the jewel in the crown is represented by the staff members, truly all very kind. I hope to return!

River location, with easy walking distance to railway station, but it is best to take a taxi from station if you have luggage. Also, a central location for a walk to town centre/ lake with lots of good local restaurants to choose from. Lecco is not as over populated with tourists so more enjoyable than Como. Train service to Veranna can be busy, with only standing room in carriages!
