Pleasant and very well located.

Very well located.
Comfortable room and beautiful terrace.
Commercial area, safe, in front of Garibaldi Park and one block from the historic center.
Recommended.

You can have much better

Can't deny that the location was good and the room was spacious and adequate. Hot water not working properly (in three days we could not take one decent shower), when we brought it up the owner said that it's because we were on the fourth floor and I see people complained about it already, but apparently nothing was done to fix this. Nobody came to check on it and we were offered nothing to compensate this problem. Mostly the bad rating depends on the way the owners approached the us: check in at 5pm (although the day is full price?), we asked to check in earlier and they started calling us saying that they could not wait much longer because they had other errands to run. There was never anybody in the b&b to ask for something. When we were shown the room the owner forgot to show us the safe and when we called the next day because we needed it we were told that nobody could come to the structure at that moment. Bad guest handling.

Excellent budget choice near historic centre

This double room with ensuite, balcony, small frig and tea/coffee making facilities was perfect for my stay in Lecce. Although it was on the fourth floor of an apartment block, there was a lift, and the area was quiet. The location was amazing – it was only a 2 minute walk across the park to the wonderful historic centre and 2 doors from a mini mart. It was dark on arrival but I was unable to arrange a shuttle from the train station - the taxi cost Euros 15. I would definitely highly recommend Larala’ when visiting Lecce.

Very good, but there's room for improvement

Positive
Property was in great location, on the edge of old town. Our superior room was spacious and bed comfortable. The owner was very nice, he allowed us to check in 2 hours before and booked taxi to the airport for us. There was really good wifi with very strong signal.
Negative
We had a problem with hot water, actually there was only cold water in bathroom sink. In the shower we had to run the water around 10 minutes to get to warm/hot water with changing pressure, which was very annoying. Also, our room wasn't serviced during our 3 nights stay and at the end we run out of toilet paper. We weren't aware we should have used request cards (found them on our last day). It was our fourth B&B in Puglia in 11 days and we didn't have to request service in previous ones, so to make it clear for guests would be nice touch.

If you're on a budget...

PROs
Great location on the fringes of the city centre, plenty of places to park, corner shops and restaurants nearby. Room spacious and clean with private bathroom and balcony overlooking quiet courtyard. City is by the way amazing with a buzzing historic centre. Owner pleasant and helpful.
CONs
The apartment is quite old (used to be a flat) although it has been done up to look trendy and fresh. Doors did not close properly. Happily we were alone in the B&B. Bathroom was old and had poor ventilation, plus no water pressure. The day we left there was a water cut at 8:30 so we had to be up and showered by then. The owner asked us to leave by 11 as he had other guests arriving (while we were only allowed to check in at 5PM). Wifi collapsed occasionally. Breakfast was by token in a seedy old bar around the corner. Barman was very rude and very unhelpful. Token only gave us right to a bun and a coffee (juice etc was extra). Not what you expect when you are paying for bed and BREAKFAST...
Would I consider returning to this place? Probably not.
