Very unique property in the heart of town. We enjoyed being so close to all the restaurants and being able to walk around in safe area. I would definitely return back. Check-in was a little confusing but we were able to connect and get the code to get in so that was that was fine.

The B&B was in a fantastic location. We stayed in a beautiful vaulted room which was extremely clean. Reception staff very helpful.Parking was a little issue. Parked 10 mins away down a street. Overall a lovely stay

It was very disappointing to find out that this room did not match the description provided and the two owners were not what you would expect for owners to be. The worst human encounter we have had on our vacation in Italy. Overall, the wrong room provided was nicely made up and appeared to be made out of an old historic stone house, which gave the room extra charm. The location and complex itself are located in the heart of Lecce, which was nice too. But, not again. Thanks anyway for letting us in and out.

Historic B and B in a fantastic location

Stayed at this historic b and b in October 2017. The building is over 1,000 years old and is simply amazing. You just wont find a more historic rustic place in Lecce. Superb location right in the heart of the old town with some of the best funky bars and resteraunts just a few yards away. As for value for money you wont find anywhere better either. Our room had a fantasic baroc ceiling with a very comfy bed. The lady on reception sorry cant remember her name was extremely freindly and spoke excellent english. She always went out of her way to help us with any requests for places to eat or visit the service we received was typical of the very friendly italians and especially Lecce. Lecce is a fantastic vibrant town with a fantastic old town with winding streets just waiting to be explored. However the town really does come alive at night with some great places to eat and drink and live music as well. Try Crianza for food lovers just round the corner for a great burger and fantastic gourmet street food. Lecce is called the florence of the south and its a great place to visit and this b and b is the perfect place to explore it from. Would definately return to Lecce and to the b and b Demetra.

The location couldn't be better and her hostess as well (Giorgia), such a kind woman.
However, there's no housekeeping service to the room. As the rate can be a little expensive, a housekeeper to tidy up & clean the room, would help to make the stay more enjoyable.
