Great stay.

This accommodation was situated in a perfect location. Near the center but in a quiet location. The accommodation once you get in the building is very cute and comfortable. The host and her assistants were super welcoming and accommodating. The rooms were spacious and kept very clean. The complimentary breakfast consisted of delicious fresh pastries and some cold cuts. If we go back to Catania we shall definitely go back to the B&B Elmi

The most horrible room we've ever had

We have booked this accommodation for the last 2 days of our holiday, due to the good reviews.
We got the room "Diana", which is not shown in the gallery...and probably for a good reason.
Already upon entering the room we and felt very uncomfortable as it was the purest darkroom. In the corner a narrow window with frosted glass, in front of it a blackout blind that could not be moved.
Fresh air also incorrect indication!
Since we came from the quad tour on Etna, my husband went directly to shower.
During the shower, I thought my husband's phone was vibrating loudly, which was lying on the rotten desk. However, this noise came from the water pipe
When my husband finished, he showed me all the mold in the bath, after which we decided to leave this cave immediately.
Then I wrote to Elisa, told her about the condition of the room and asked for another room.
She didn't respond to that.
Since I booked with Booking.com, I had the option to cancel for free, which I took advantage of.
Within minutes Elisa was standing in the doorway. She was very upset and unfriendly as no one would have ever complained about this room. Besides, she wanted us to pay for one night since we used the room.
65€ for 1× shower my husband did not want to pay, to which she immediately wanted to call the police.
Anyway...we were all too stupid, time consuming, too stupid for the end of our holiday...have paid the amount and have been looking for a fantastic new accommodation outside!!! of Catania.

Fabulous caring staff in this B&B in great location

Even though we just had a short stop-over we were made to feel so welcome by the fabulous staff. The room is exactly as advertised, the location is good to get into the city centre. Breakfast is plentiful and can be enjoyed on an outdoor terrace.
