Garda stay 18th to 29th july

The hotel location the style was great the room 101 was perfect.
Bleona kept our room spotlessly clean. Really big comfortable bed.
Good big bathroom fantastic rain forest shower head. Good storage.
Hangers and drawers in room again plenty storage, fridge and safe. Room opposite lift very handy.
The food we found to be good breakfast continental and plenty.
The Staff were great Clara was a delight friendly and a lovely smile at breakfast.
At night sat outside the Restaurant and had great meals and plenty to eat big portions, Waiter's were very attentive.
And make a great Hugo.
Good wine. Great list.
Solarium in the morning after breakfast chilling outstanding veiw of the Lake and Garda coming alive. Solarium is a great area but note:- no shade at time of visit.
Then exploring Ferry to Bardolino one day bus to Verona another day. Great location for shops and restaurants Bars, Lake swimming 2 large beach areas.
The Receptionists Domina and Pina were very friendly and helpful good knowledge, booked our Taxis arrival and departure.
Will stay here again

Never again food

We went for dinner on Monday, June 8, 2026. We were served by an unfriendly older gentleman. Actually, we wanted to leave right after placing the order. Unfortunately, we waited for the food. I received a dark lasagna, very soft and almost inedible. I sent half of it back. The mixed salad was iceberg lettuce with a few tomatoes, not recommended either. The location is very nice, but there are far better places there.

Nice stay on Lake Garda

We spent 3 days as a stopover at the hotel.
Room was great with lake view in front row.
Breakfast was not very sumptuous but you found something. Parking is available outside for 18 euros a day or you park at the train station for 14 euros a day.
On the roof there is a nice terrace with Jacuzzi.

eating with taste

Often encountered for work in Garda, I always stop at the same restaurant "Hotel del Giardinetto", lately I found the wine list improved and the professionalism of the maitre d', kind, welcoming, excellent dining room manager and wine expert.
Excellent cuisine, especially fish dishes.
I recommend it to everyone, to play it safe, eat well, and last but not least, drink excellent wine.

Beware – absolutely not worth four stars!
What awaited us at this hotel I have never experienced before and was just disappointing – in every respect.
The rooms are quite new but very small, hardly any storage space, not even hooks in the bathroom to hang a towel somewhere, which is extremely annoying! The roof terrace is very nice but completely unusable – not a single umbrella, no sunbeds with shade. You just get grilled.
But the worst part:
We wanted to take a very expensive road bike to the room, because you definitely can't leave it in the car in Italy. This has never been a problem until now!
What happened next was absolutely unacceptable:
Three people came to our room without warning and threatened to take the bike away, call the police and throw us out of the hotel. And all in the presence of our 9-month-old daughter. I have never experienced anything so disrespectful!!
Empathy? Misrepresentation. For a hotel that is supposed to be family friendly and four stars, this was absolutely unacceptable.
Service and staff are unprofessional and unfriendly, the food mediocre, the whole hotel is far from the standard of a 4-star hotel.

Signora Prantl,
Non vedevo l'ora che scrivesse le sua recensione accusatoria perché così mi da l'occasione di far presente a tutti quanto sia SCORRETTA E SPERO POSSA FARE DA ESEMPIO AD ALTRI COLLEGHI CHE SI TROVAERANNO AD AVERE A CHE FARE CON CLIENTI ARROGANTI E PREPOTENTI COME VOI.
Avete prenotato una doppia superior ( non una suite) e vi siete presentati in 3.. e va bene... ma PRETENDERE DI FAR ACCOMODARE UNA BICICLETTA ASSISTITA ENORME E SPORCA IN STANZA SENZA MAI AVER CHIESTO SE FOSSE AUTORIZZATO FARLO, È VERAMENTE DA INCIVILI.
Forse sapendo che non avreste ottenuto il permesso in fase di prenotazione, avete pensato di poterlo far accettare con la forza una volta fronte desk?
Come avete palesato la vostra COSTOSOSSIMA bicicletta vi è stato detto che da nessuna parte era scritto essere pratica accettata ma voi avete obiettato dicendo che SE ACCETTAVAMO IL PASSEGGINO DEL FIGLIO NON SI CAPISCE PERCHÉ NON POTEVA STARCI ANCHE LA BICICLETTA... come se prole e bicicletta avessero la stessa rilevanza.
Vi è stato dunque proposto di mettere il prezioso mezzo nel deposito biancheria al piano terra in via del tutto eccezionale ma no.... Non avete voluto perché" IN ITALIA SIAMO TUTTI LADRI" a detta vostra!
Vi è stato proposto allora di lasciarla al deposito/ noleggio a circa 300 metri ma no... perché, si sa, il deposito va pagato.... meglio gratis in stanza
A questo punto la receptionist, dovendo rispondere a una chiamata nel back office, ha abbandonato la. Reception per un secondo E VOI NE AVETE APPROFITTATO PER CORRERE IN STANZA CON LA BICICLETTA CHIUDENDOVI REPENTINAMENTE DIETRO LA PORTA!!!
Ora vi chiedo se vi possiate trovare nella condizione di dare degli scorretti a noi o se piuttosto siate venuti in italia pensando di farci passare per fessi nella convinzione che da noi le regole non abbiano importanza : ecco, non è mai tardi per imparare qualcosa di nuovo.
Altra domanda : visto che trovate piccole le nostre stanze ( che vanno da 18 a 26 mq senza contare i bagni spaziosi) mi spiagate come pretendevate di star comodi con la COSTOSA BICICLETTA PARCHEGGIATA CONTRO IL MURO.. proprio accanto alla culla e al passeggino?
Ora do io un consiglio a voi:
è la terza recensione VOSTRA alla quale rispondiamo: ricordatevi sempre che in Italia esiste la QUERELA PER DIFFAMAZIONE e sarebbe spiacevole ricevere una lettera a casa di un nostro legale. Avete veramente stufato
SE NON SIETE DISPOSTI A RISPETTARE IL. PROSSIMO VI COVIENE RIMANERE A CASA PERCHÉ CLIENTI COME VOI NON SONO INDISPENSABILI A NESSUNO
