Beautiful stay

We spent two nights at the Europa hotel and had a great time. Our room was newly renovated, large and located on the first floor, with a beautiful view of the Mallero stream. Opening the window you could hear the roaring water!
The location of the hotel is perfect for the historic center, although in Sondrio everything is very close. The owner is a very nice and helpful person, we followed all his advice on walks. The other people on the staff we interacted with were also very friendly. Breakfast is simple but has everything you need, I found the elderberry and raspberry tart delicious.

Minimalist single room

Tour in Valtellina, they chose this Hotel, unfortunately among the singles in the group I ended up with room 406, literally a hole, I didn't like it at all (to think that you pay the single supplement...), 90s furnishings, cramped spaces. On the positive side, the cleanliness and the kindness of the staff.

Bad experience.

Saturday, December 20, my partner and I stayed in this hotel in Sondrio. They initially assign us a freezing chamber. At our complaints and after waiting in vain for the 'intervention of the owner at my insistence we change room. A room of 7.8 sqm!! The space between the bed and the wall 25-30 cm!! A bathroom of 1.2 x 1.5 meters!! The shower cubicle of 60x60 cm!! By law a hotel room must be at least 14 square meters!! I don't understand how this hotel has been categorized as a three star hotel.

Hotel located 700 meters from the train station, has Covered parking, pet friendly structure, fast wi fi, breakfast really very good and plentiful, there is 'the possibility' to make trips to the historic center and museums, really friendly and competent staff. Experience to repeat!

It's like staying at home

Nice rooms, top cleaning, friendly and kind staff. Great quality of sleep and breakfast with delicious cakes. Fantastic location in the center of Sondrio. Highly recommended
