Well worth a visit.

This casa is a hidden gem, I chose it at random and so glad I did. The host Christina is just lovely and is willing to help in any way she can. The housekeeper {forget her name}, sorry, was also very lovely and helpful, nothing is or was too much trouble. The room was spacious with beautiful furniture and the bathroom was a good size also. Local bus to the city was a short walk and plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby, especially Mangia Assai. I had to go 3 of my 8 days to eat there.

Quiet location away from the buzz of central Florence

The house is located in a residential area 10/15 minutes bus ride to central Florence. Buses stop close by. A bus to Fiesole goes in the opposite direction, worth a visit if you have time. A pleasant and clean house with a small garden available for residents to use. You also have use of the kitchen.
This is a traditional home, personal ornaments and photos adorn the house and an abundance of artificial flowers and crochet. Bathroom was adequate with good quality sanitary wear. Nice cotton sheets on the bed. Bedrooms average size. We didn’t meet the owner but the housekeeper Rosi was there and could not have been more pleasant or helpful. My main criticism is the low quality breakfast offering which lets the establishment down. One basic cereal, small slices of bread and some preserves, small muffins. Nothing savoury at all. You have to toast your bread using a small sandwich maker rather than a proper toaster and you’re not allowed to help yourself to coffee from the machine. The whole breakfast experience was quite bizarre. I recommend you give it a miss. There are local places to eat.
We did appreciate that the aircon had a ‘quiet’ button so you could keep it on while sleeping and not be disturbed.

Sublime hospitality

The place was truly beautiful and well furnished, the courtesy of Mrs. Cristina was truly unique, the room was welcoming and very convenient compared to the Nelson Mandela where we were for a concert.
We will definitely consider it for other events and highly recommend it

Very nice B&B

During a football match and looking for a solution to stay overnight in Florence, we found this really nice little b&b. The lady, I believe the owner, was very kind from the first contact and allowed us to use the small private car park (for a fee) upon our arrival in the late morning. Ours was the triple room on the upper floor, quite large and finely furnished with antique and valuable furniture..... and with really comfortable mattresses! The bathroom
it's simple but the shower is quite large. The girl we found serving us breakfast was very kind with an Italian breakfast with packaged preparations. If we pass again it will certainly be a fixed stop. Small note: to reach most of the rooms, those on the first floor, you have to climb a small flight of stairs

Lovely B&B

A very lovely B&B for a good price. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here (5 nights), Rosi, the host was very lovely, she made sure we felt at home and Cristina was also great in swiftly helping us out with any inquiries.
Would recommend to book here for an authentic stay at a great location in Florence!
