“A Technological and Comfortable Stay in the Heart of Florence”
I had the pleasure of staying in this room in Florence and my experience was really positive. The structure is modern and technological, with innovative solutions that make the stay particularly comfortable. Although there was no staff physically present inside, I really enjoyed the automated management: you get all the instructions to enter the suite directly via codes, which makes entry very easy and quick, without any kind of stress.
The room was elegant and well maintained, equipped with all modern amenities, including an advanced technological system that allows you to manage lights, temperature and entertainment with just a few clicks. It is a perfect solution for those looking for an independent stay but at the same time in the name of luxury and modernity. The property's location is great, within walking distance of Florence's main tourist attractions, which adds extra value to your stay. I highly recommend this place to those looking for a unique and cutting-edge experience.

€100 for a 3-year-old child and unfounded accusations: unacceptable experience
I travel often for work and pleasure, and as a Booking Genius Level 3 user, I have stayed in dozens of establishments without ever finding myself in a situation like this.
The establishment advertises an "automated check-in," but in practice, it simply involves communications via WhatsApp with a person who avoids any direct confrontation and who, when finally contacted by phone, proved to be unprofessional and not at all focused on resolving the issue.
The worst surprise came when I was asked for an additional charge of €100 for my 3-year-old son's overnight stay. An amount equal to the cost of the entire reservation. To call it an additional charge is frankly misleading: it is a disproportionate charge that lacks any reasonableness.
Even more unpleasant was the way the situation was handled. Despite having already submitted my son's identity documents for the requirements related to the tourist tax and guest registration, I was insinuated that I was trying to introduce him into the establishment "illegally." An offensive and completely unfounded accusation against a customer who was simply trying to clarify a somewhat opaque situation.
Throughout the conversation, I found a rigid, hostile attitude lacking the slightest empathy. Every request for explanation was dismissed behind alleged bureaucratic constraints and constant references to Booking.com policies, as if the responsibility for hospitality and customer relations did not belong to the establishment itself.
Florence is an extraordinary city famous worldwide for its hospitality. For this reason, I find it even more disappointing to encounter businesses that seem to view guests merely as a source of revenue, rather than as individuals to be welcomed with fairness, transparency, and respect.
It is an experience I would not repeat and do not feel comfortable recommending.

Denied Check-In After Prepayment – Verbal Abuse & Unsafe Situation
I had a confirmed, prepaid reservation (over €300 for three nights) at 1suite Firenze but was denied check-in over an €18 tax payment issue.
On the day of arrival, my credit card was temporarily blocked after the payment link sent by the property was flagged as suspicious. I immediately called them to explain the situation, and offer to complete the €18 payment as soon as the issue was resolved.
Instead of working toward a solution, they refused to speak with me by phone hung up on me when I called, insisted on text-only communication, and then cut off communication entirely, directing me to Booking.com.
During this exchange, I received messages that were verbally abusive, including statements later suggesting I had “cognitive issues,” along with other demeaning and hostile remarks. I have retained screenshots of all communication.
I also contacted Booking.com, who initially promised to help me find alternative accommodations and assured me I would receive a refund. However, hours passed with no resolution—no one seemed to know what was happening, and ultimately no help was provided.
Despite having prepaid, I was left late at night in a foreign city—Florence—as a solo female traveler with physical limitations, in an unsafe situation with no accommodation.
After numerous emails and calls, neither the property nor Booking.com has provided a refund or taken responsibility.
In over 40 years of travel, I have never experienced anything like this. I also noticed a similar review about this property a year before!
I am sharing this so other travelers are aware.

After a day of work in Florence, on arrival in my room I started to hear a very loud noise coming from the windows (clearly NOT soundproof) due to the air conditioning engine. Caught up in the total discouragement of the new working day that awaited me, I tried to ask to change rooms, in order to be able to rest. Difficult attempt, since you can interact only through whatsapp and also useless, seasoned to make overfucking and arrogant of the attendant, who even before telling me that there were no other rooms available, was keen to emphasize that no one had ever complained about the problem. Returning to the room without having received any assistance to be considered such, in the various reviews made to the hotel I found that the problem of engine noise has been worth more than a few criticisms, but it is clear that the property has no intention of dealing with it, and indeed prefers to use rude collaborators rather than protect its customers. Also in the rooms there is no shower but only a bathtub, with relative difficulty in accessing the elderly and disabled, without taking into account the waste of water to fill it, since there is no possibility of using the shower without flooding the bathroom with water.
However they inform you that it is FORBIDDEN to shower.
In addition, on the second day I could not use the Wi-Fi, despite having restarted the modem several times, and when I pointed it out they replied that they care about ensuring the service only to those who use the standard, that is Android, so those like me who use Apple with an iPhone 15 remain cut off, and since there is not even a TIM signal in the room, to do a Teams of work I was forced to go out.
Finally, the air conditioning of the room is very weak and despite having kept it on all the time, it was not enough to refresh the environment, but on the other hand it was very noisy. I absolutely do not recommend it.

Good but not great!
Accommodation for 3 nights at a reasonable price. Garage very close for 24 euros per day and a very organized bar next to the entrance door to be able to have a good breakfast in the morning. It is a 20 minute walk from the main points of interest and is located in an old building but internally the rooms are new and spacious. Our room had a bathtub with shower to be used only when sitting, to enter the bathtub it is very high and I slipped when sitting down. In the bidet you can occasionally hear noises perhaps due to the exhaust from the other rooms. Window and small balcony they overlooked an internal courtyard. The linen is poor from the towels to the sheets. Those who make up the rooms are superficial, the made bed was messy and essential things such as toilet paper are missing in the bathroom. Fortunately the rooms are new with access cards and basic furnishings so there is really little that can be done but that little is done very badly. You can find better things for the same price!
