A good stay

We spent a weekend with a couple of friends at this hotel.
The hotel is very cute, modest rooms without great amenities, but excellent staff and a plus for the pool area. Very well-kept and with a view of the mountains with bar service.
Excellent location both for the waterfalls and for going to Chiavenna.

Well managed

Good hotel just outside of Chiavenna on the national road... hotel with a pool and spa, the latter for an extra charge, with ample private parking... excellent food, with the option to eat at Crotto Belvedere, a very characteristic restaurant... the only drawback for me was the room, which was not air-conditioned.

Excellent location.

A nice surprise! Hotel outside Chiavenna on the highway to Switzerland that has renovated many rooms. Ours was airy with air conditioning and windows that soundproof perfectly. In the back, the pool in a well-maintained park with "comfortable" lounge chairs and a good bartender for service. Excellent breakfast. Impeccable check-in and check-out service.

Nice typical Italian hotel

Very nice staff and helpful. The breakfast was very good by Italian standards; there was everything you needed and a nice lady here as well. The hotel is clean. We had an older room, where the bathroom was not that nice and the shower was very small. The hotel is centrally located; you can easily reach Chiavenna on foot and by car.

A good hotel in Valchiavenna

In the small hamlet of Prosto di Piuro, on the Via Nazionale a few km from Chiavenna in the direction of Villa di Chiavenna, a well-maintained property with functional rooms, convenient three parking lots (in the internal courtyard, at the entrance, and on a square in front of the building), with a pool, quiet environment even if positioned on a busy road, breakfast complete with sweet and savory foods, efficient cleaning service, courtesy at the reception and in the breakfast room, definitely appreciable quality-price ratio.
