A hotel just a stone's throw from the sea, truly

The property is very beautiful (the rooms and small balconies are a bit dated perhaps, but nothing more), it has a private parking lot and is equipped with a pool. The hotel has private umbrellas and a very beautiful piece of private beach; furthermore, the sea is literally a stone's throw from the property and the pool. There are outdoor showers and there is a bar. The rooms are nice; we stayed in a spacious, clean, and comfortable quadruple room with a sea view. The cleanliness is also excellent. The food is very good; we opted for full board, and I must say that the fish was very good, and the breakfast was varied as well. The staff is very kind and helpful, both at the reception and at the restaurant. A quiet property without noise; even though we have 2 children ourselves, the few that were there were very quiet. I definitely recommend it for the strategic location near the sea, for the good food, for the cleanliness, and for the proximity to the center of Diamante, which is always nice to visit in the evening. The price is a bit high, but if you consider all the features listed above, it is normal for it to be so compared to others that are cheaper.

average experience

We stayed at the hotel for a few days and we were overall comfortable; the staff is very kind and helpful. The only sour note is the manager, Mr. Luigi, whom I found irritable, already aggressive in tone as soon as we entered. He would interrupt at the reception and communicate by shouting in the local language directives to the restaurant staff, lifeguards, and cleaning ladies. We often found ourselves observing this "show" while sitting on the sofas, which is not nice for a 4-star hotel. The beach and pool included are a great advantage.

To be tried again

Good hotel located close to the beach, easily accessible from the state road. Excellent room, fairly friendly staff, good breakfast. We had a room that faced the road and railroad side, not exactly the best, but the sea-view rooms were right above the area where there was music every night, so for me, absolutely to be avoided, therefore let's say it was okay. The elevator needs to be modernized/modified, and perhaps the entrance in the elevator area as well. I don't think I saw any handicap access.

Enviable location and commendable management of service disruptions, albeit with some structural shortcomings

My recent stay at the Hotel Poseidon in Belvedere proved to be a decidedly positive and pleasant experience in many respects. The property enjoys an enviable location, optimal for any logistical need. The gastronomic sector stands at levels of excellent quality, with fine dishes and, a note of absolute importance, a truly commendable wine selection that delighted the palate at every meal. The true added value of the hotel, however, lies in its human capital. I wish to express my most sincere gratitude to the Manager, Mr. Luigi, a figure of rare courtesy, exquisite kindness, and constant availability. An honorable applause and a special mention go to the receptionist, Ms. Federica: faced with a sudden technical malfunction that appeared in the elevator, she exerted herself with admirable promptness, effectiveness, and solicitude in resolving the impasse, demonstrating extraordinary problem-solving. The only sore points, which do not invalidate but limit full comfort: the lack of air conditioning in the hallways and the absence of a handrail or an access ramp at the entrance. This last architectural barrier, represented by the entrance steps, is more necessary than ever to facilitate elderly guests, families with strollers, and people with reduced mobility. Overall, the experience translates into a solid and well-deserved final score of 8.5.

Excellent in everything.

I spent 10 wonderful days with my family, I would say perfect. A special thank you goes to the entire staff who welcomed us with kindness, politeness, and always with a smile. Not to mention how good the food is, I could give it 10 stars. The cleanliness is excellent. In short, thank you for these wonderful days.
