Family-run small hotel away from the mainstream

A wonderful short vacation took us 4 days to Torbole and to the Hotel Roma.
We were impressed by the friendliness throughout the house, the simple but practical rooms, the great breakfast buffet, the well-maintained pool, the secure parking spaces, and the beautiful, cozy garden.
Everything was top-notch - we thank you for the hospitality and would come back anytime.

Excellent stay in Torbole – clean, spacious rooms and perfect location for families

We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Roma and would gladly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
The rooms were exceptionally clean, spacious, and very comfortable, making our stay relaxing from the very beginning. Everything was well maintained and organized, which we really appreciated.
We were traveling with a baby, and the hotel made things very easy for us by providing a baby high chair for meals, which was a thoughtful and useful detail.
The breakfast was excellent, with a great selection and high-quality food to start the day. Another highlight of the hotel was the kindness and professionalism of the staff — everyone was friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile.
The location is fantastic, just a short walk from the beach and very close to the town center, which made it perfect for exploring Torbole on foot.
Overall, a fantastic experience and a great place to stay when visiting Torbole. We would definitely come back again!

Never book Hotel Roma again

We had booked a room at the end of August 2024. Due to a major network disruption at Eindhoven Airport, our flight was cancelled. We couldn't go back there. I immediately informed hotel Roma via mail. We were informed that we were not entitled to cancel because this was not booked through Booking.com. The cancellation would be valid until 27 August. I responded that the argument of hotel Roma was not correct because the booking was cancelled on August 28. I have not received any response to this. Even after 2 reminders on my part there was no response at all. If they don't agree with my point of view, the least they can do is respond. That's not how you treat your customers. Well before August 28, I corresponded with the hotel a few times about our expected arrival times. I always got an immediate reaction to that. So they know what it's supposed to be like. All in all, we are never going to book to hotel Roma again because I think they are just rude people.

Geachte heer Theo,
Het "annuleringsbeleid" wordt duidelijk aangegeven op Booking.com, op onze website en gecommuniceerd via e-mail op het moment van boeking of aanvraag. U heeft ervoor gekozen om te boeken tegen het handigste, niet-restitueerbare tarief.
We geloven niet dat we onbeleefd waren, aangezien we haar meer dan eens hebben geantwoord dat ze voor eventuele terugbetaling contact moet opnemen met de luchtvaartmaatschappij die haar heeft verhinderd Italië te bereiken, of met de verzekeringsmaatschappij, als ze een verzekering voor de reis heeft afgesloten.

Nothing exciting, great bike storage

New tenants. Were now the 3rd. Here we go. But it really hasn't gotten any better.Before breakfast was a joy. When you arrived now 30-45min before breakfast ended it was just pathetic what you still found there. A certificate of poverty. The bottle of sparkling wine next to the orange juice was probably to drink down the frustration. Italy offers more than 2x different cooked sausages, if at all and 2x sliced cheese and the bread selection if there was a choice was nothing :-((Gosh guys, if I want guests to come back I have to offer them something!! For this, the competition is too great to move on at the level.It doesn't have to be lobsters and champagne The bicycle cellar is top, but you don't have to do much there.

Sehr geehrter Herr Torsten,
Das Frühstücksbuffet wird regelmäßig aufgefüllt. Wenn ein Gericht kurz vor Ladenschluss aufgebraucht ist oder nur noch zwei Kunden übrig sind, geben wir ihnen die Möglichkeit, bei uns anzufragen, ob sie das Express-Gericht erhalten möchten.
Wissen Sie, was in Hotels passiert, in denen das Buffet auch am Ende der Servicezeit noch sehr voll ist? Denken Sie darüber nach, nehmen Sie sich die Zeit, die Sie brauchen...
Angesichts des Tons Ihrer Bewertung verstehen wir, dass Sie uns nicht zum vierten Mal wieder besuchen werden. Es gibt viel ja Konkurrenz, Sie werden mit Sicherheit ein Hotel finden, das Ihren Bedürfnissen entspricht.

Great location near the lake between Torbole and Riva

Hotel located between Torbole and Riva, on walking distance from the lake (a couple 100 meters) and also close to the center of Torbole.
Friendly and helpful staff, large car park (free for hotel guests) and our room had an amazing view of the mountains and the lake. The pool was also clean and nice to relax in during the afternoon if you want to get away from the busy-ness of the lake.
