PULL THE PLUG
Oasis of peace and tranquility are the first words that come to me to describe this structure located on the hills adjacent to Agrigento. Beautiful views and sunsets not to be missed surrounded by olive groves. More than ideal for people who like me actually live in a metropolitan city (Milan) and need to detach from the reality in which you live and relax completely. The Welcoming, discretion and kindness of Alberto and Valentina, their children Gioele and Gabriele, their collaborator Loredana, are certainly one of the strengths of the elegant and rustic structure at the same time. To admire the ability 'of Alberto to put people at ease and make himself available in the shoes of a modern Cicero and illustrate the places to visit, how to get there and all other useful information to spend an unforgettable holiday.

Alberto and his family are nice and helpful people.
Beautiful structure surrounded by greenery a few kilometers from Agrigento; in an oasis of peace and tranquility.
We spent serene and quiet days with great suggestions for dinner by Alberto.
All pleasant ... very kind his collaborator during breakfast in the morning.

A well-kept oasis that you would not have expected here - must go if you are looking for something nice and tidy here!
The accommodation “Roba degli Ulivi” in the Agrigento region is a true oasis of well-being, nestled in a picturesque landscape full of olive trees that give the property its distinctive charm. The rustic property is reached by winding paths, whose natural stone walls harmonize perfectly with the surrounding nature. The many olive trees, some of which are impressively old and majestic, characterize the image of the property and create a unique atmosphere of calm and seclusion.
From the cosy room you can look out over the olive groves through large windows, while the pool invites you to relax amidst this natural setting. The old olive trees provide soothing shade and create a calming, almost timeless atmosphere. Especially the terrace under an imposing, gnarled olive tree invites you to enjoy the silence and beauty of the surroundings. Here nature and architecture merge in a special way.
“Roba degli Ulivi” offers not only relaxation, but also the ideal base to visit the temples of Agrigento just 15 minutes away. Very idyllic but only partially recommended.
The accommodation is very idyllic in the hinterland. Good starting point for Valle dei Templi and Agrigento. Very nice property. The pool was quite murky. Our room was nice but unfortunately a bit musty. The bed was much too soft, however, so you kept sliding into the middle. In addition, it creaked quite loudly when you turned. In the vicinity, it had dogs barking all night. So it came to nothing with the hoped-for restful sleep. The breakfast was quite rich for that.

Worst host ever - Roba degli Ulivi
We spent two nights at the end of August 2024 at this property waking up to magnificent scenery and a small olive grove. The breakfast is acceptable with croissants, chocolate, jam, toasts, juices, etc.
It is so unfortunate that the owners treated us with such rude manners; the property does not deserve such rude owners!
Notwithstanding that we paid dearly for the two nights at this 1 star property, we experienced disastrous conditions within the rooms and within the common outside areas.
We booked the holiday accommodation 5 months prior to the booking with a free cancellation up to one month prior to the booking date. We wished to go to another property in another locality but the owner did not respect the free cancellation he had offered previously and following several calls and emails we remained without our deposit money; the owner was very arrogant during the phone conversation and we were forced to make arrangements to go to this property. This was obviously unacceptable as he had mentioned that cancellation is free if cancelled one month before.
We travelled as four families and booked 4 rooms in total. Issues found within the rooms: no refrigerator, dimming light, low water pressure (no water on some occasions), minimal socket outlets to charge personal devices, very uncomfortable bed with springs felts in the back, no towel replacement, no cleaning of room, no bin in room, etc.
In addition to the above, the owner asked us to silent the 6 Kids as they cannot play / scream around pool; this was at 6pm.
Alberto, how could you stop children from playing after 3 hours locked inside a car whilst travelling to your property?
Alberto, you should have also stopped other guest children who were swimming without swimwear (and possibly also peed) in your highly chlorinated cloudy pool.
At check in the owner’s son informed us that we were allowed at the pool until 9pm, whilst Alberto came to the pool informing us that the pool will be closed at 7pm. When we tried to counter this statement, Alberto asked us to leave the property as we were making a “brothel” with our shouting kids.
Alberto also commented that we are not allowed to use water pipe located immediately outside of the bedroom bungalow to clean our sandals since ‘water is scarce in sicily’. In less than 10mins he dismantled the tap in order for us not to use it.
Never again.

Penso che le risposte le abbia già dato che questa recensione. La nostra struttura non è assolutamente adatta a gruppi numerosi che possono arrecare fastidio ad altri ospiti. Questo è un posto dove si può ancora godere del profumo della campagna e dove leggere un libro all’ombra di un ulivo. Avete spagliato struttura.
