My favorite hotel in Nikolayev

I'm really glad the hotel's open again. It was always a favorite hotel in Nikolaev. Very pleasant staff who are always available to help with any problem, especially girl administrators. Last time we were very happy breakfasts - everything is very delicious and fresh, a lot of choice.

Optima River

Despite all the difficulties that have been experienced in the recent past, the hotel functions and welcomes guests.
I was pleasantly surprised at the warm welcome I received at the reception, at how comfortable my stay, however brief, was at the hotel. The staff is polite, the breakfasts are delicious and hearty.
The room is warm and clean, with beautiful views.
I will definitely come more than once and recommend to my acquaintances.
Thanks to the hotel staff for their work!

Deception of foreign customer with worst service & willing to give customer trouble!

This hotel clerk lied & refused to service even *ONE LOUSY cup of hot water and elementray lie about he did not understand *what is hot water* in English; yet, he understood English perfectly before than. **Chilling & worst of all, when I was ready to check out, the male desk clerk, must be supervisor, added that I drank 2-beers, when in fact I have been non-drinker, non-smoker all my life! My tour manager paid very small amount, I could buy 2,000 bears easily with dollar conversion, just let me check out; if I had disputed, he would tell hotel employees to put two-empty beers in my room and called police saying I refused to pay. That is how Reikatz treated me, American, and when I wrote for explantion, never bother to reply! Given horrible, the worst possible service, if you can call that as service for refusing to give one cup of hot water, spine chilling accusation, dirty lie, that I drank beer and the male desk supervisor *conviniently never present when I was ready to check out! Given this fact, I would very much discoaurge anyone, esp. fellow Americans, to seek out this hotel for their stay!

Not what i expected..minimal

Double room..small.shower for midgets
Room is clean.minibar items in a small basket on the desktable long past expiry dates! First night only a sheet on the bed..2nd night had to ask for a blanket or duvet
Special mention :Yuri front desk..very helpful and pleased to assist .card on table showing contact address of "customer service director" I sent an email to them on Tuesday.today is Friday- zero response

I want to thank you for your feedback and for choosing our hotel. For summer time we use only sheets due to the hot weather but upon your request we will immediately provide you with a blanket. I am so sorry if both elevators were out of service, our staff can always assist you with your luggage. I do apologies for this inconvenience. At the moment the issue is fixed. Mr. Brian, the date you see on the snack pack is a production date not expiration date. We can always provide you with extra towels if needed. (there 3 towels per person: bath towel, hand towel, feet towel).

Old rooms but probably best in the area and wonderful scenery

It's a big hotel, with many (big) rooms, with old decoration but seemed clean.
Good mattress.
Very nice scenery, right by the river.
Breakfast was awful, didn't know what to choose.
Restaurant is ok (with salad, which is rare) but pricey.
But it's probably your best option for a stay in Nikolaev.
