We arrived from Antalya feeling tired around 11:30 AM, yet the room wasn't ready until 1:45 PM. A hotel with a prestigious reputation should have rooms available to accommodate guests in such situations. Furthermore, no service was offered while we sat waiting in the armchairs. I find this unacceptable.

We really enjoyed our stay at Barceló and would highly recommend it.
Highlights of our stay:
Fantastic rooms – beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable.
Wonderful staff – everyone was friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help.
Excellent breakfast – a huge variety of delicious options to choose from every morning.
Amazing spa – we tried the hammam and massage treatments, which were excellent. We also loved the swimming area, jacuzzi, and sauna, making it the perfect place to relax.
Overall, Barceló exceeded our expectations, and we would gladly stay here again.

Sophisticated Elegance in the Desert

10-month old Barceló Cappadocia was stunning! Another elegant hotel during this trip that exceeded our expectations. Before I forget, kudos to Oguz @Front Desk who, even before we got there, answered my questions and patiently accommodated my requests in messages we sent back and forth thru booking.com. He helped me book our hot air balloon ride and red tour before we arrived. The property is impressive from the outside to the inside, daytime and night time, top to bottom. Our rooms with terraces in Barceló were beautiful, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast offerings were plentiful and delicious. I recommend this hotel without hesitation. The photos do not do it justice. It's more beautiful in actuality.

I loved this property and I plan to revisit at every opportunity. The staff were amazing, the hotel smelled like heaven, the property was extremely clean and the convenience to town was great.
The only thing I’d ask is that they add more options to the menu. Outside of that, this property was perfection!

Not much service was available. We arrived with 3 luggage’s and no one was at the front door to help us bring in the luggages.
When we checked into the room, it was different from the photos that were advertised at the time of the booking. We tried to talk to the front desk but they just rudely ignore the comment and mentioned that all rooms in the hotels were all the same.
We had to call hotels.com to help us sort out the issue, which the staff at hotels.com helped and finally assisted us to a room change. Shout out to the hotels.com team for that.
In general the hotel is new and clean. To use the pool the require swimming caps, which they charge another EUR 5 for , and if you want to use the hot tub, it is another EUR 35 for the reservation. So we rarely saw anyone use any of the facilities.
The breakfast was quite good, but tables and floor are often not cleaned.
Overall the hotel is good because it is new , but service and amenities were disappointing.
