Incredible honeymoon or couple experience

We booked the suite after a long travel week. It’s a quiet location close to town and walking distance to views and look outs. The suite has a spa bath. Power double shower and giant private balcony where you can see the balloons. Lovely traditional breakfast is provided on the roof top. The service is exceptional

Uç Hisar is within walking distance of the city center.

We stayed for two days at this small hotel in Uç Hisar. The rooms were spacious, well-decorated, and had balconies, but unfortunately, the cleanliness was poor. The service and attention we received were nice.
Our room was on the ground floor, next to the entrance reception, so there was a lot of noise when entering and exiting. You might prefer the upper floors. The breakfast selection was limited but sufficient.

The room was clean, spacious, and bright. Access to our porch was nice. The air conditioning was efficient and worked very well. The staff was very friendly, courteous, and helpful. They did not speak much English, but they were able to use the translator app on their phone to understand more detailed questions and discussions. The person who was at the front desk was not at the desk when we arrived to check in. I tried buzzing on the button at the desk and could hear it ringing, but I don't think that the front desk person could hear it. I finally called out up the stairs and the front desk person was able to hear me. He apologized for not being there. It really wasn't a big deal, it just took a bit more time to check in than we thought. The location was perfect for us. Easy access to stores and restaurants, all within walking distance. Really nice little area of Cappadocia for us. Not noisy or too busy. Definitely not nearly as packed as Goreme. Also, breakfast was included. It was buffet style with a good selection of choices. Fresh and tasty. It fit our personalities and wants very well. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Spot lights need to be replaced the bed needs maintenance other than that the place is up standing.

Positives:
- very friendly and helpful staff, Umit at reception made us feel at home always and offered us advice on what to do during our stay. He even offered to help book us some excursions, which he found for a good price. If you don't have time to research online and drive/phone around for deals, he can help you for sure!
- room was nice and spacious with A/C and basics provided.
- hotel is in Uchisar, close to all main attractions (if you're driving) but away from the hectic life of Göreme, while still having restaurants and shops etc.
- plenty of parking.
- breakfast made fresh when you wake up.
- jacuzzi (which we didn't use but tested and it works).
- balcony where we dried some of our clothes and shoes.
- amazing view of Uchisar castle and got air balloons from the breakfast terrace.
Negatives:
- bathroom could have been a little cleaner, water stains on shower, taps, glass etc, jacuzzi was a little yellow.
- towels smelt of cigarette smoke mixed with laundry?!
- breakfast is not buffet, made to order, which is fine, just so you know.
